Allied Paver Systems
About us
Allied Paver Systems, LLC was started when the principals, Don Montroy and Jason Bailey saw a need for a quality oriented, professional paver contractor in the area. In working with contractors, we have heard over and over again that their paver guy was late, that pavers were not showing up, and in some cases builders were simply being told to find other installers if they didnâ??t like how the job was done. From the inception of Allied, our main focus has been to provide on time, high quality services to contractors and homeowners alike. Our jobs get done to client specifications every time, and jobs are completed at or under budget. We accomplish our goals through dedication to our clients, dedication to quality, and our ability to effectively schedule and motivate our industry leading teams of installers.

Cons: Contract called for removal of the old pavement, but dug too deep as needed to eliminate roots. Because it was so deep, we had to pay for extra fill and repair damage to irrigation; contract indicated no responsibility for underground irrigation, but they damaged above ground sprinklers and would not replace or correct; Also damaged the street with their equipment and refused to repair it;
Suggest: be available for oversight when project is being completed, as their plans/drawings are not always as agreed upon or were not properly conveyed to the workers. Fortunately we were able to catch mistakes while being made and make necessary corrections.Also, have everything in contract you expect to be replaced/repaired clearly stated to avoid after completion issues; they left some minor concerns, all solvable with additional outlay of funds, but could have been avoided.
Workers were great and know their craft; management and sales is a slightly different story and was not completed as timely as anticipated because they underestimated amount of pavers and sand.
Given the above, with pricing and finished product, would still recommend and use in the future, but would be clearer in the contract about what they would be responsible for, including replace sod in areas they had to remove for construction purposes.
I gave them several opportunities to correct, but they refused.
The selection was easy because we knew what we were looking for. The date for the start was set and we paid a down payment. The job was delayed a few days because of schedule confusion, but the crew showed up and knew what they needed to do. They leveled the drive as detailed in the scope of work, then proceeded to lay the pavers. They did a great job and stayed with the task and finished in less than a week as stated on the original meeting.
