He was cutting a neighbors tree, I went down and asked for a estimate for my tree. He gave me a good price, and we set up a date to cut. He would cut the full tree down, remove all debris, and grind the stump. He performed the job, and all went well, excellent job

He was good. His name is Paul Halloran. He has been in and around in this town for years. I came across him when my neighbor across the street used him. She had an oak tree that had been there and the sucker was 60 or 70 years old and the roots had finally gotten into her septic tank. He totally took that sucker down and ground the stump. I walked over and told him I had some work over and that's how I got him. Right in front of the house, electric lines run from post to post along with the cable and TV. Through the years some tree limbs had grown where those cables were and a couple of limbs had grown around the cables. When they cut the tree down, I was standing at the window and looking. They could only cut so close. There were two places where the tree limbs were still around the electric line. The only way they could ever do it is take down the whole line and redo the whole thing. It grew around the electric line itself. He had a good price. I figured he would come back and say $1000.00 for the job. When he said it was $450.00, I told him to get working. The huge oak tree in the back was $150.00, two stumps at the back were $50.00, a big old tree in the front cut down was $50.00 and the ground stump, two maples trimmed were $50.00, and a tall tree was $150.00. He had a big old truck with one of those grinders on it and he actually was like a true professional tree man. He had the guys. My yard was spotless when they left. He was careful about the limbs and made sure they didn't fall on the house and damage the roof and things like that. I had some huge limbs on that oak tree in the back. As a matter of fact, the trees are getting a little ragged now and I might have to call him back. I am hoping he is still in business. It's a man and his two sons. He is probably in his 50's and he has got two young sons that are following his footsteps. It was superb work. I watched him across the street when he was doing the work. He had to take it down a little bit at a time because it was so huge. He couldn't just do it all once because it could have fallen on the house or torn up the electric lines. I bet the stump across was six feet in diameter. He ground it like you can't find the stump. I said we were going to get him once he told me the price. It was a very good price.
