The best! Do not go anywhere else for garage door service. I really can't say enough about the service with this company. They were professional, punctual and honest. No upsell (which I absolutely hate). I will never go anywhere else and have already referred them to others as their service was so exceptional. Garage door repair with no drama - easy, simple, painless and done - which is what is should be. Customer for life.
He and his son installed the new belt, and did an overall maintenance of the door, pointing out areas that I could maintain myself to help with keeping the door in good working order. I appreciate when a company does this, as it not only helps maintain equipment longer, but also saves money for me by doing the maintenance myself.
While he was here, he asked if I wanted a new piece of rubber installed under the garage door (the weather stripping), and I'm so glad he asked, because it was old, worn out, and letting bugs and water inside the garage.
The man and his son are professionals. No wonder they have such a great rating on Angie's List. Besides being so polite and efficient, they are animal lovers and put up with my two giant poodles wanting to "help" them. I highly recommend this mom and pop small company. I try to go with the small guys instead of the large companies when I can.
The garage door spring broke on Sunday afternoon. I called Terry on Monday morning at 6:15 and he returned my call by 7 a.m. I asked him to please arrive as soon as possible because my car was in the garage and I had to drive to work. He told me that he would be there by 8:30....he arrived at 8:10, the work was completed by 9 a.m. and I was on my way to work as scheduled. Yippy!
I find Terry to be a nice man and very competent in his trade. He installed my Liftmaster Garage Door Opener in 2004. He replaced a broken spring back in 2008 as well. I have recommended his service to many people over the past 10 years.
We had the garage door replaced in the summer of 2004, right before the hurricanes, there had been issues with it ever since. They had not greased the tracks, telling me that we should have known to do that, I explained that they never left a manual so I would know to do this; I'd had to call them a couple of weeks after the installation because the door would jerk around a lot when opening and closing. I'd come home from work, opened the door, got out of my truck (before driving into the garage) to get the mail, then after seeing the garage door was open, I drove in. About half the way in the garage door dropped down one section, landing on top of my SUV, crunching the panel of the door when it hit my SUV. I was home alone when they came out for that so they treated me like I was stupid and the entire problem was caused by our incompetence.
After that experience, I made sure that my husband was home when Terry came out, but this really was not necessary. Terry pointed out the numerous things the installers had done wrong & was sweet enough that he fixed those things for us for no extra charge. He explained everything he was doing and why they needed to be done, We know a lot about garage doors, openers & tracks now - it is great to have this knowledge for future problems. He was easy to talk to, he didn't make us feel stupid.
We know we need to replace the garage door opener, soon as we can afford it we will be calling them back to do the job.
Great job, great attitude, best experience on having a home repair done.
