Mad River pools take pride in their work. It was a long wait as the company was busy, but Mike is an excellent communicator, so we were advised every step of the way. Learned a lot about pool building and crew was very professional.

Mad River transformed our backyard into an oasis. Not only did they take us step by step. They were honest and stood by their promise. Great communication by Mike. I have to say that his team are phenomenal!!! Jeff, Brian, Justin, John and Calvin were all very hard working and worked daily to get the job done by a certain date. We reached out to Mike and he was extremely responsive and the most impressive to me was his honesty and knowledge/experience. We described the look and purpose of the pool we were hoping to build (most contractors want you to go big), and Mike provided numerous concepts including the final version we went with. Even during COVID, he and his crew started and finished the project on time as proposed and agreed upon. Lastly once the project was finished, Mike has been awesome on training and supporting us on how to take care of the pool. The overall experience was as well as we could have expected, based on horror stories we have heard from friends' experiences.

In February 2020, Mad River Pool Construction completed a total remodel of our forty-three-year-old pool. The project included: complete re-plumbing, new surface with added spa, sun shelf, benches, steps, swim-out, LED lighting, cleaner, control automation, and 1,500 square foot Travertine decking. My wife and I have been in the construction trade for over forty years, and we are familiar with qualifying contractors. Not only by referring to online reviews, but also reaching out to many of the material and equipment suppliers for our project. As well as inquiring with representatives about said contractors’ qualifications and proper installation of their products. That being said, we had multiple sources to consult when it came to the remodel of our pool. When asked, almost every one of them named Mad River Pool Construction as one of their top-rated installers and preferred vendors (they pay their bills on time). After interviewing and obtaining estimates from numerous companies, it became abundantly clear to us that Mad River Pool Construction met all of our requirements and was the right contractor for the project. Mike and the crew of Mad River employees, promptly started our project on the date agreed upon and continued in a workman-like manner until it was completed. Mike and Jeff’s knowledge and supervision of our entire remodel was the leading contributors in our project being completed smoothly, in a timely manner, and on budget. Mike and team are true heroes! We began the process of building an in-ground pool in March, 2017. May, 2018 and our pool was a far cry from being completed. Mike did an excellent job on our new pool. He was great at communicating with us from the start to finish of the project and was always prompt to reply to any questions that we had. His team was very professional and always cleaned the work site after finishing each day. Large construction projects can have a lot of unexpected hiccups, but Mike did a very good job of estimating the timeline of the project and keeping everything on track despite weather delays or the unexpected. Our pool turned out beautiful and the quality of the project shows. We would recommend Mike and his crew to all of our family and friends and would absolutely work with him again.

Fast and very professional

Very Good! From permit application to final inspection this was a 6 week project. Everything was done as expected and I was kept informed of each step. Mike, Jeff and crew are friendly , knowledgeable, and professional.

Mad River Pool did an amazing job! Mike is very knowledgeable and helped pick the best pool for us! He and his crew were always professional and approachable with everything. Communication was stellar! We always knew when they would be here. Everyday the crew was here Mike was here for final checks. The Mad River Pool crew are experts in the Pool construction field! Very well. We just didn't know we were responsible for repairing yard damage ourselves. Mike recommended a good company to help us out.

It went very well. The team was great with cleaning up before they went home for the night. I had actually called OTHER people out for some quotes on getting the pool done and they all "dismissed" me (no calls back, excuses of they lost the quote, to:" I sent it, didn't you get it?") never to hear from them again. I believe it was because I wasn't looking to spend $60k in a pool renovation, they felt I wasn't worth their time. Mike was the only one who got back to me. I was positive Mad River was worth the wait and I didn't want just anyone doing my pool after hearing stories of pool renovation nightmares. I would definitely use Mad River again.

Everything went really well. Mike and his crew were very flexible and were a pleasure to work with. We took about a year before pulling the trigger on having the work done so we could also set up a patio addition to be done in concert with the pool installation. Mike was great and worked well with the construction company to make sure everything went as smoothly as possible. The only hiccup was when the Wet Edge finish failed on the pool. Mike came out right away and notified the manufacturer who went ahead and refinished the pool at their cost.

We had a wonderful experience with Mad River pools from the initial meeting through the finishing phase. Mad River owner Mike Ramee was a pleasure to work with. He oversaw each stage of the project which went seamlessly. It was in three segments, pool with waterfall, a very large stone patio, and screened Florida room. Mike oversaw all of this and he was great to work with. The men who worked on the project were all professionals. They were here on time, finished on time and were trustworthy and skilled. They were the best crews ever! The whole project was reasonably priced. We love our pool and porch and if we had to do it again, believe me, we would call Mike and Mad River Pools!

Working with Mike and his crew was absolutely amazing and painless. Mike was very thorough with all of the information and prices were all very upfront. I never had any surprises. I had a fiberglass pool installed and a very large amount of pavers installed. The end product is even more beautiful than I imagined. I highly recommend Mike with mad River pools. Mike Ramee was professional and knowledgeable about pool design and construction. His work is excellent and in the five years following our new pool construction, we have had absolutely no problems and continue to enjoy our pool.

Mike and his crew do excellent work. The experience and knowledge he and his crew have are becoming a lost trade. You will not be disappointed from start to finish with any work associated with Mad River Pools. Being in the trades for 25 plus years you know quality when you see it. Mad River pools is one of a handful of contractors in general that you will never have to worry about their knowledge and workmanship. They simply do it right the first time. Like most people that either know something about construction or don't know.He will assure you when talking to you if you know or he will walk you through every step of the way. They do as they say ! They SHOW up when they say ! The complete when they say ! I sound like a paid customer of Mad River Pools. My motives are as simple is this. The trade industry is becoming a lost art that many people don't have today or understand. I consider myself one of those people in a different trade other then what Mad River Pools does. When I can compliment a company that does this work I will acknowledge every time which is few and far between. Fantastic! Mike took time to explain all the pro's and con's of pool selection, features, placement, etc, as we are from the Northeast and have never owned much less installed a new pool. And 14 months later, we don't regret any decision. The pool equipment has never had an issue, the concrete remains uncracked, it's as if we just had it installed yesterday. Neighbors have had significant problems occur within the same timeframe; I firmly believe Mike's experience and expertise, as well as that of his long-time dedicated staff, made all the difference. He was also refreshingly honest and forthcoming on occasions when he really didn't have to be; more than once our installation was able to use simpler tools or less labor than in the original contract, and he immediately brought it to our attention and LOWERED the original estimates. We would never have known. He apparently cares more for his company name and his longterm business than overcharging on an individual sale. Highly, highly recommended.

Overall it was not as bad as I thought with it being such a overhaul of my back yard. The guys from Mad River Pools were great - during my project Hurricane Matthew hit and they took one whole day to clean up the two trees and fence panels that went down in my yard - and straight back to work on pool. Any issues and/or questions were taken care immediately. Mike Ramee, owner of Mad River Pools made himself available to me - so I didn't feel like I was out of the loop. I am so happy that I decided to have the pool built and that I found Mad River Pools during my search for a pool company. I am very please with my new back yard. Thank you Mad River Pools :)
