They were courteous, quiet, thorough, and clean. Couldn't ask for better, except they are not cheap. But, sometimes you get what you pay for.

He replaced the lead pipe and the pipe stub that came out from the wall. I put a level on the stub and found that it was slanted the WRONG WAY. I called him back and he said that if I would remove the sheetrock he would fix it. He wraped some plastic strap around pipe and pulled upward on the pipe and then screwed the plastic strap to the wood sheathing. This will not hold for very long and must be corrected. When I objected to the use of the strap he told me that it is plumbers strap so it was correct. I know that the strap will stretch and the pipe will be slanted the wrong way. I will need to get someone else to correct the problem. I had other issues with the work but none so potentially costly as a drain that will not drain because it slants the wrong direction. I have pictures of the problem.

"We did everything possible to satisfy customer. Customer satisfaction is our #1 priority. We installed plumbing as per plumbing code. The section of cast-iron pipe leaking, per our conversation with homeowner was not changed by previous contractor causing water damage to wood, pipe collapse and leaving no roof vent. To correct problem we removed cast-iron pipe and replaced with sch40 pvc piping through roof, as well as water pipe coming up from floor, was corrected and moved inside wall. Advised her to have vent flashing corrected by a licensed contractor to prevent future water damage. The 2x1-1/2 sanitary tee branch line connection that was slanted was caused by sheetrock not cut correctly causing excessive weight to pipe leading to improper fall. Found out sheetrock installers were not licensed nor insured to perform job. We at Sunshine Plumbing Systems strive to perform quality work and came out for a Second time to help her. Plumbers strap was installed to pipe to give extra support in case this issue happens again. Another reason Plumbers strap was used on branch line to Kitchen drain was due because a notch found on bearing wall measuring 8" from top to bottom, this strap would give the extra pipe support need to meet plumbing code. We can offer this resolution: Plumbing Inspector at her residence to inspect our plumbing work. We will fix anything found to be in code violation in order to meet code and to meet Sunshine Plumbing Systems standards."

Sunshine Plumbing Systems did a very nice job. They were a little more expensive than other companies in my area but the quality of work shows. I had them complete the final installation of my water heater. They cared about my situation and scheduled everything as quickly as possible.

It was through my Home Owner's Warranty and I spent around $75. I just purchased a home. My experience with him was good. He did a great job. He made some suggestions and helped me out. He actually went beyond his responsibility to help me to find out what the problem was. While he was working on the problem he noticed that I had a leak in my faucet and I told him that I also had a leak in my garbage disposal, so he called the insurance company to verify if that was covered and he fixed that also. It was all fixed at no additional charge for me. I would definitely use him again in the future if necessary.
