Growing up on a plumbing truck in Brooklyn and working in high rise commercial and residential properties in Manhattan I know the importance of getting things done properly and in a timely fashion. We specialize in anything in and around the house starting with light plumbing and electrical including drain cleanings and clogs. To me it’s not about how fast the work gets done. It’s about if the work gets done the correct way and if it’s clean enough for the home owner afterwards

Pool Table Assembly questions, answered by experts

The process involves selecting a site, preparing the ground, setting up a supportive frame, and securely installing the liner and water filtration system.

It’s a good idea to run the pool pump while swimming because your filter and skimmers will be active to help keep the water clean. Additionally, if you have pool features, you would naturally keep those pumps running while you swim. However, it’s not a requirement to run your pump while you swim.

No, shock and chlorine are not the same thing when it comes to pool maintenance. Shock contains a high dose of chlorine meant to intensely shock your pool and remove bacteria. Traditional pool chlorine, often in the form of chlorine tabs, is used to keep a steady level of chlorine in the pool at all times. Proper pool maintenance requires using both shock and chlorine.

You can turn your aboveground chlorinated pool into a saltwater pool. The cost of a saltwater pool conversion is between $750 and $2,000, depending on your pool’s size. A saltwater pool offers benefits like less maintenance and water that is gentler on your skin. You’ll need to replace the salt every five years, but you won’t need to clean your pool as frequently.

Hire a licensed pool contractor in your area with ample experience in your particular pool design. Pool contractors will walk you through both the design and installation process. They will also recommend or hire a team of subcontractors to manage clearing the land, excavating for the pool, and adding all the design and electrical touches that make your pool run smoothly.
