The work was fine. I didn't have a lot of interaction with the inspector, but he made that simple. They were able to complete the inspection on a Saturday when many companies aren't able to.

We were very pleased. He was very thorough and we would recommend him.

Service was great, and his inspection report was very detailed, which gave me piece of mind moving forward with the ultimate purchase of the property.

I live in Kansas and was purchasing an investment / future retirement property in Florida. I was unable to visit the property prior to closing and had serious concerns buying it sight unseen. When a couple of serious issues were discovered on the second unit inspected, he stopped his inspection and called to discuss the issues so he didn't run up unnecessary charges.

I decided to move forward and all 7 inspections were completed. Most reports were generated the day of inspection, or I should say that night, some time stamped at 1 to 2 in the morning. His efforts gave me the information I needed and crucial time to formulate a plan and request additional compensations from the owner prior to my due diligence expiring. After the purchase, I visited my new property and felt as if I had already been there thanks to the quality and thoroughness of the reports.

I have already recommended Johnny to others and will be using him on future purchases.

Johnny Harris is the best inspector I have ever hired. I have been selling real estate since 2003 and have used several inspectors. We met Johnny about two years ago and he does every inspection we order. My business partner Don and I sell about 35 - 40 homes each year to Buyers and list about 50-60 more and Johnny gets every inspection we are able to send. I would recommend him to anyone.

Johnny Harris, owner of Hourlgass Home Inspections, is probably the rudest, most immature, and most irresponsible person I've ever met. He missed so many things when he inspected our home before we bought causing us to believe the house was good to go. My realtor was supposed to supervise him because my wife and I were 600 miles away packing for the move. She dropped the ball big time on this guy. Shame on her too. It has cost me tens of thousands to get it up to par. Specifically, the pool pump was bad, the A/C needs replacing, the entire pool area had no power, the icemaker didn't work, there is a roof leak. It seems that he didn't do anything at all. There are more items he missed but I really don't have time to list them all. He has called my wife and I names when we ask him questions. Very unprofessional and uneducated individual. I would never recommend this guy to my worst enemy. He tries to come across nice at first but once he is confronted with what he missed he turns into a childish bully and begins his name calling. This guy seriously asked me to meet him at a gym so he could show me how he really feels about me.
In conclusion, Johnny Harris is full of threats, lies, and incompetence. He obviously lacks the skills, personality, and customer service to run a company. RUN, do not WALK away from this person and company.

Johnny arrived on time and knew exactly what I wanted for my insurance company. He was well equipped and did a thorough inspection, including excellent digital photos. His inspection report saved me considerable money on my home owners insurance.

This was truly an amazing experience. I happened upon this person on the web, looking for a wind mitigation report on a second home. I emailed, and he responded right away and did the inspection either that day or the next. The price was *exactly* what the insurance agent said it should be. Since I was an out of town buyer I was a little concerned about how to pay for this, but he said not to worry about it and sent me the invoice and report trusting that I would pay (which I did, of course!). He was friendly and professional. The report was detailed with really good pictures. I would use him not only for this but also for a home inspection if I ever needed one (one was already done on this home before I found him). It could not have been a smoother experience.
