VARI Inspection Services

Mr. Vari performed a home inspection for a home we were buying. While most of the important items were noted, there was a huge fail: he missed that all of the sprinkler heads in the back yard were missing and there were pipes broken below ground level. We found them quite easily and quickly once we turned each zone of the sprinkler system on and water spewed everywhere. It’s evident this (checking each zone) was not done at inspection time. The inspection report noted only, "several heads need adjustment to broaden coverage area" which is in reference to the front yard. It will cost us quite a pretty penny to fix. While we likely have no recourse, I hope this review will make others aware to stay on top of the home inspectors.

Tony was wonderful! Not only was he very personal and professional, but he made room for our inspection (which took approx. 2 hours) on short notice. He is a licensed, certified home inspector (license #: HI-8047) and he owns a construction company. So he has good understand of how things are supposed to work. 
Because we had to have a four-point inspection, he had to check the roof, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC. He was very thorough, doing more than what is required by the insurance company. He even climbed up on the roof and under our house in the crawl space (which we have learned some inspectors will not do). He let us tag around with him the whole way, answering questions about the construction and maintenance of the house. He was also descriptive and helpful about HOW to do certain things (which is important to us as new home owners). 
Mr. Tony Vari is a kind person, and thorough professional. We would highly recommend Mr. Vari for future home inspections.
