TERRI'S PET-SITTING

Norm and Terri are the owners of Terri's Pet Sitting and they are just genuinely nice people. They do everything themselves without subcontracting any of their services out which turned out to be a must-have for us since our dog Pepii does not get along with strangers too well. We contacted Norm and Terri through Angie's List and they promptly contacted us saying they were full and couldn't take on another pet. We looked around some more and couldn't find anyone of their quality in the area who was available, so we made one last contact with Norm and Terri telling them to contact us if they knew of anyone else.
As it turns out, they had an opening pop up that next week, so they quickly scheduled a meeting with us at our home to meet Pepii. We knew this would be tough since Pepii really does not like new people. She was never abused since we got her as a newborn puppy at the Humane Society, but for some reason she goes crazy and barks incessantly at new people and takes a very long time (multiple visits) to get used to someone and accept them. During that first meeting, Terri and Norm worked their magic with Pepii by getting down on the ground to her level and using treats to gain her trust. They were actually able to touch Pepii on their first visit, which nobody else has ever done! Norm will attest that his very first visit with Pepii alone was tough since Pepii still was unsure about him, but over that first week Norm never gave up and won Pepii over. Norm even went out of his way to bring Terri that first week to help out with gaining Pepii's trust. Norm would always contact us in those early days on the phone to give us updates. Now Norm and Pepii are best buddies!
Terri's Pet-Sitting is an all-around great pet sitting company. Norm even writes up notes after each visit telling us what he did during the visit and what he and Pepii played with. It gives us the piece of mind that Pepii had a good play break during the middle of the day when we see Norm's note at the end of the day. They charge by the visit, which is nice since if you have to cancel a day or two for some reason that is no problem with them. They only charge for each time they visit.
Recently, we were going on our first vacation since bringing Pepii into the family and attempted to take her to a kennel while we were gone. Well, that didn't go too well and the kennel quickly called us and told us to come get Pepii because she was extremely stressed out. We were in a bind since we were leaving the next day. We called Norm and short notice and he was able to schedule Pepii for visits three times per day at our house while we were gone. This allowed Pepii to stay in our house in a familiar environment and see her best walking bud, Norm, not just once a day, but three times a day!
I would recommend Terri's Pet-Sitting for anyone who needs a pet walking/watching service. They do all kinds of pets too, even spiders! They are prompt, courteous, professional, and they really, really care for and love animals. We could see this during that first meeting with them at our house when they got right down on the ground with Pepii trying to gain her trust!

They are really nice. The dogs responded positively with them. They seemed to really care about animals.

They are always reliable and my dogs are always calm and happy when I get home and this makes me very happy!

Always goes as planned. Terri's Pet Sitting is THE BEST. Reliable, honest and trustworthy. They take wonderful care of my fur babies when I travel for work or go on vacation. I really don't know what I would do without them and I know my neighbors all feel the same way.

They are just really nice. It is a little bit more than a kennel, but not enough to bother us to load the dogs and take them somewhere. They come three times a day and take care of the animals.
