After interviewing several companies, I chose LCS to refinish my travertine floors, which were very dull and scratched. Lisa came out to do the estimate and was very knowledgeable about the process and very thorough in her explanation of the options available. On the day that the work was scheduled, they arrived right on time. Leon, the owner, walked through everything to make sure that we were all on the same page. His crew did an exceptional job! They were very nice, very professional, and made sure that I was completely happy before they left the job site. My floors look better than the day they were installed!! In a few years, when the floor needs a touch-up, I know exactly who to call.

Salesperson, Lisa explained room by room what could be done and what could not be done. It was nice to not have a pushy salesperson but an honest one. Next the crew arrived on time every day and finished a day earlier than promised. They also were constantly working while at my house and very professional. Restoring the terrazzo floors is a detailed process and this company is very experienced and did a beautiful job. Thanks I had a kitchen, utility room, two bathrooms, dining room, living room, and three bedrooms and a hallway restored. All the rooms had carpet tack holes and one had a crack running across the room. The kitchen and dining room had tile stains which restored without any stains. The crack is still visible but not nearly as bad as before the repair.

The travertine floors look beautiful. The company was easy to work with and very responsive.

LCS does a wonderful job. We had them out about a year 1/2 ago to do a big sanding/polishing job. It was great. I called for them to do the traffic area polish in May. There were a few glitches because they had to keep rescheduling us. However in the end Lisa gave us a discount for having to wait. When they did come out this week, the work was terrific. Our floors look like new!

I'm almost at the end of my home restoration project and decided it was finally time to do the floors.  I knew when I saw the terrazzo under the tile I would have it restored.  Called LCS and made an appointment with Lisa to come out and give an estimate.  She told me over the phone what they could do and couldn't do.  I felt confident that my floors were in the "could do" category.  On the agreed upon date Lisa arrived and examined at the floors.  She explained that the carpet nail holes were a separate cost and I could 1. not have them repaired,  2. have the ones you see mostly repaired or 3. have them all repaired.  She explained how the repair work was charged and gave me the cost of restoring the floors with no repair. work.  I opted for repairing all the holes and  I am so happy I had the nail holes repaired.  My floors are beautiful!  When I walked in and saw the floors after all the work was complete I couldn't stop smiling. I thought they would do a good job but I have no idea they would do as good as they did.  Everyone who has seen my floors comments on how beautiful they are.  If I ever have another house with terrazzo floors, LCS is the only company I will call.  On the day Lisa  did my estimate, as she was leaving she said they would do their very best.  They did their best and then some.  Thank you LCS.  I'm still smiling. : )

Our neighbors restored their floors by LCS 8 years ago and we saw the WOW factor 1st hand. So when we were ready we knew who to call. We had linoleum in the kitchen and tile in bathroom, a wall had been removed years ago and there were marks on floor where this work had been done and covered up with carpet. LCS crew and Leon (owner) were punctual and professional. Truly nice, good people!  You would never know that linoleum, tile, and marks from wall was ever there. The floors are beautiful!! I highly recommend LCS, Top Notch Company.

I have used LCS on several previous occassions to correct defects and restore the surfacing of my terrazzo floors, several rooms at a time.  On this occasion, they restored one room and then repolished other rooms.  They moved furniture and returned it to its original positions, they even remade my bed after moving it back into the room.  Baseboards were taped off to prevent damage.  They are courteous, professional, punctual and do great work.  My floors shine like glass now.

I was extremely impressed with LCS.  I first met with Lisa who provided an estimate for the work.  She was very knowledgeable and provided different options to consider.  After meeting with Lisa and receiving the pricing options, I immediately moved forward with the service.  Leon and his team from LCS came out the next day promptly as scheduled.  They took care of moving the larger items for me, which was a great help.  They placed plastic around cabinets, doors and other flooring to prevent any damage.  They were very thorough in prepping the floor and applying the sealer and polishing it.  In the end I was left with a floor that looks absolutely amazing and better than when it was brand new.  I highly recommend LCS and would absolutely use them again.

Leo and Lisa were professional in all aspects. Tho work was done on schedule. The price was competitive. They were helpful afterward with advice on care of the flooring.

From the time we received our estimate to a week later when the work was performed it was 100% professionalism and honesty across the board from the owner, daughter and their crew. We were more than amazed at the work and quality that was performed by LCS. We moved into the house back in 1986 and has had carpet the entire time. We recently decided that we wanted to restore the original terrazzo in the house and could not be happier with the results. LCS and their team is 100% A++ across the board.

B+ Improvement could have been in the scheduling as there was a total down day in between steps resulting in a 3-day job vs. 1 and a half day job as was described.   Work was otherwise done as described in the estimate.  We will use them for future maintenance to keep the floor looking good.. They will provide a cleaner once you have left a review.

An aside - don't have travertine installed in a kitchen area- drips and spills will leave marks and require more maintenance than other tiles and stones.

It took 4 days of work .....very professionally done by obviously experienced personnel.   They taped all moldings and carpet edges over the entire area.  Unlike the last provider we had no problems with scarring on carpets or scratched moldings.  
The floors came out beautifully polished.... could not be happier..
In addition , we spilled some liquid on the newly polished floor several weeks later.  The company came out (no charge) and showed us how to make the spill disappear .

Restored 600 sq.ft. of terrazzo in an (almost) 50 year old home. Lisa arrived on-time for appraisal and evaluation of floor. She clearly explained the steps and procedures in cleaning and polishing the terrazzo as well as gave the pros and cons of exactly what the restoration could/would/may accomplish. She measured the space, gave detailed estimate of all to be done. I had to remove all furniture and empty closets. Since I was removing a wall for a future kitchen remodel, she suggested that be done as well as removing the kitchen cabinets prior to floor restoration. Said that would facilitate repairing and cleaning the floor. LCS Inc. wet honed and polished the living room, kitchen, dining area, hall and two bedrooms with diamond abrasives. Polished same areas. LCS removed self adhesive tile and cleaned off glue residue.  Removed carpet tack-strips & repaired holes by accurately matching background color and using correct chip colors. Gave an honest appraisal of just what to expect with restoration of a 50 year old floor. I would suggest you do in fact remove the baseboards, the wood can leach color and stain the terrazzo, the house had 'hollywood baseboards' that were flush to the drywall, impossible to remove. After restoration there were stains along the perimeter of the floors. I had 4" baseboards installed, which have covered the stains! I am glad I had the kitchen cabinets removed prior to doing the job, as they probably would have stained the floor as well. The new cabinet footprint might not have covered those stains, removing the cabinets before cleaning made that a non-issue. If you do the prep work that Lisa suggests you will achieve the best possible results. It was a pleasure doing business with this company. The team arrived on time all days but one, and on that day I received a call advising of the delay. They were pleasant and professional, did an excellent job and were attentive to my questions and concerns. The results surpassed my expectations and I enthusiastically recommend this company.
