Myron was wonderful. If I called, he answered or returned my calls in a timely manner. Very knowledgeable as he has been in business a long time. Smaller company so he can focus on the individual client. Myron is the owner and he is the one I dealt with from start to finish.

We chose Jemstone as our pool builder and we are glad we did. Jemstone came in with a very competitive quote and a great design that we could not refuse. We have gotten to know Myron and his team as we continued throughout the process, and our relationship has strengthened throughout. Bob handled the project. In the beginning to get the bid they were very responsive but as the process dragged on, we ran into numerous issues. Contact via email and phone calls were not answered in a timely manner. At one point we had to contact the owner Myron directly and HE doesn't even return our calls period! When the draw is due, they sure were quick to get back to you. As the pool construction come to an end point, the equipment of the pool was installed but not hooked up to the electrical system yet to make sure that everything would be working. The Pebble-Tec surface need time to cure, followed by the addition of chemicals necessary to get the pH corrected and etc so the pool is not swimmable at this time. The pool equipment tech guy even told us that it was not swimmable at this time. The contract specifically stated that "swimmable" is a requirement for the final draw. So when we had refused to fund the final draw because the pool is not complete, they said we breached the contract by not paying them and thus placed a lien and sent us to collections. Keep in mind that we have made every previous draws (85%) in a timely manner. Trust became a big issue with us and we wanted to ensure that everything that needed to be addressed will be done so before the final payment is given. The issue is still on-going. I would never ever use them again for anything and would highly advice anyone considering a job with their company to stay clear.

Myron and everyone at Jemstone has been great. They did a wonderful job on our pool construction, so of course we wanted them to do our pool cleaning and maintenance. They come weekly and have been very responsive when we've had questions or concerns. We use our pool and spa a lot so having someone we can count on to keep at its best is important to our family. We trust Jemstone to do that.
