Chem-Dry of Tampa

The gentleman who came out was very honest. He did what he could to help our carpet and gave us ideas on how to extend the life of it. The treatment put down on it has allowed for a very pleasant look on it for months after the treatment. We use this company at my place of business, as well, and they do a fabulous job.

We didn?t really like their service at all. We had carpet installed and the cleaning service came with the carpet for like a year or something like that. The carpet was real sticky after they got done, it was stiff. I think they put too much solution on it or something.  It wasn?t real good. I thought the Chem-Dry stuff was supposed to dry up and be gone. It took less time if they used steam cleaner stuff. It did that, but it was like walking on sand or something after it got done.

The guys were okay. The guys were very nice and everything. It?s just that I wouldn?t use that service, the Chem-Dry stuff again. I didn?t like that at all. I brought my own carpet cleaning machine, so I do it myself now. I didn?t have to pay for it, that was the only good thing about it. It felt like I was kind of getting ripped off, but I didn?t have to pay any cash. I don?t know how much it cost because it was included with the price of the carpet.

The whole thing was bad. They were nice on the punctuality. They had to come back twice. They had to come back again because the carpet was as stiff as he**. With the next guy, it still didn?t come out any better. They were very nice, it was just the product that they were using wasn?t any good. I can?t fault them on the product.

Ted, the owner, showed up on time and spent a good 2 hours doing all the cleaning. He did an excellent job and left directions how to make it better, i.e., don't walk on the carpets for at least 4 hours and vacuum the carpets again after 48 hours. The carpets turned out so good that we decided not to replace the carpet in the big room with hardwood floor.
