I was so relieved when I first spoke to Al over the telephone; he didn't make me feel rushed at all. I truly felt listened to and understood. Unlike other inspectors, Al was so polite to meet my request of an emailed quote of potential services. When he arrived at my apartment residence, he was so professional and friendly. I asked so many questions, all of which he knowledgeably and eagerly answered. The 21 page report was delivered so promptly, but most importantly fully compiled of a mold profile, possible health risks, he even notated certain fixtures that my apartment management needed to address due to code. After I read the report Al called me to follow up with any questions I might have had. I'm so thankful for his honest, compassionate business approach! Amazing people!

Great follow up

I bought a house with extensive problems that were not disclosed. I met and immediately hired Al Rabin the day he came to examine my home. Mr. Rabin took considerable time examining my home, and founds other areas that proved to have extensive hidden mold and microorganisms. The reports created are professional and extensive from color photos to scientific data. Mr. Rabin's explanation in the reports inform about the medical effects of exposure to several contaminants found in my home. Mr. Rabin also completed reports once the mold was abated. Although a troubling experience having Mr. Rabin personally doing the work and explaining the process enabled my family and me to have piece of mind through the process and now we now have a safe place to call home.

CMA is knowledgeable, professional and thorough. During the inspection they provided hints and tips on how to improve the air quality in our home and explained each portion of the inspection performed. Al called with the preliminary results regarding the presence of mold. That was followed by a detailed written report including test results, photos, narratives and recommendations. The 22 page report is great to have to refer back to.

I bought a motorhome and discovered that the roof had a major water leak and black slimmy mold under the roof that had been repaired..I called CMA and had them come out to give me an inspection..They found mold throughout the RV..they gave me a very comprhensive report , including photos...This report should help me get some good results from the dealer..

Al and Sean were extremely professional while at my home. Their test results are very detailed including a narrative and pictures. I honestly never expected such a detailed analysis. Not only did the test confirm the presence of mold but the test also tells you what types of mold and possible health issues associated with each kind of mold. Afterward Al was amazing with follow up phone calls, and he was very helpful in attempting to explain how serious the mold issue is to my landlord! I could not ask for anything more! Highly recommended to anyone needing mold testing!

These guys were very professional and friendly. They explained everything in away that my wife and I could understand. They were very clean (took their shoes off before entering the house) and told us what to expect from the remediation company. I felt very safe with hiring them and I would absolutely hire them without thought if we ever need to again.

The mold assessment that was done in my four bedroom apartment was extremely thorough. They came fully equipped to take samples of objects in the rooms and test the quality of the surrounding air. Very friendly, provided great service.

Al Rabin and his team were absolutely great! I called this company at 6pm at night to complete a mold inspection and they were on-site at 9:30am the next day! We had a specific time-frame that needed to be met, and these guys did it with a smile. Al's customer service, response time and thoroughness was a breath of fresh air in today's auto-mated systems business environment. He provided a quick turn-around coupled with a detailed written report and verbal follow-up to ensure we understood the information received. We could not be happier with the results, which saved us from making potentially, a very costly investment mistake. We definitely will use Al and his team again with our next mold inspection!

My wife and I had moved into an apartment, built in the 70's. We assumed that everything was on the up and up, but we found black growth in our A/C vent, as well as our 4 month old son's closet. We saw that Certified Mold Assessments was highly rated and recommended, we gave them a call, Al couldn't have been more professional and empathetic to our situation. After a week of deciding who to go with, we felt like CMA and Al were the best bet, from personable character to qualified in the field, we couldn't have made a better choice. Al and Sean were at our apartment for 2 hours inspecting, photographing, and documenting both air samples and surface samples of the unit. The next day, which was surprising because they wrapped up around 3:30 pm, we had the independent lab results, and the day after that, Al had completed his written report of his findings and recommended measures for remediation of our possessions. If you have any questions about anything growing in your home that aren't pets, or kids, Al and Certified Mold Assessments are the people to call!!

Al Rabin was very professional & knowledgeable in the area of Mold. I had contacted CMA in an emergency situation as I had placed and offer on a Condo and had only a couple of days to get an inspection of the home and realized it was contaminated with Black Mold. I was able to get out of the contract and prevent additional mediation charges that would have been required to replace AC, Clean Ducts, Replace Drywall and Damaged Wood Floors that was covered up by carpet. I recommend if you are thinking about purchasing a foreclosure or abandon home that you get a Mold Inspection before you place an offer as this can save you a lot of time and money!!! I was given a Report which included Lab Tests detailing the types of Mold present in the Condo. Thanks so much CMA I got out of the purchase agreement with your assistance!

CMA went above and beyond in evaluating my house for mold. I was in a rental house and became aware of a slow leak resulting in visible mold on the wood floor of the living room. I had difficulty getting my property manager to address the leak and even more difficulty getting them to take care of the resultant mold problem. I contacted Al in an effort to prove to my property manager that there was indeed mold. CMA completed my assessment within a couple of days of my contacting them after spending a fair amount of time on the phone with me explaining what would happen during the home visit. Fortunately, multiple areas of the home were tested and a 2nd (and much larger) mold problem was discovered. I was experiencing worsening symptoms due to the mold I knew about on the 1st level of the house. I had been secluding myself upstairs where where the unknown bigger problem was! Since my medical symptoms were worsening and we were battling the property manager, time was of the essence. Al and his team went above and beyond and prioritized the completion of the written report ahead of schedule. I know this was no easy feat because this VERY comprehensive report was 29 pages long! CMA uses a 3rd party independent lab to interpret the results of the samples taken. The lab report was easy to understand. I was able to compare this report to my own allergy skin test results and compare the mold fungi I am most allergic to to the mold counts on the report. I was also very relieved that CMA prepared a mold remediation protocol which provided easy to understand instructions for the handyman my property manager insisted be used to correct this problem. Unfortunately, the handyman did not follow the protocol nor did the property manager and homeowner fix the other more severe mold problem. We were forced to find another home quickly due to my declining health and I'm happy to say that my symptoms began to dissipate immediately in my new healthy environment! Although the property manager did not use the mold assessment report to do the right thing, our rental insurance company did read the report and settled with us for our lost property. I will be forever grateful to CMA for conducting a thorough assessment in a timely manner and prioritizing our situation so that we could take the necessary steps to take control of our health.

I received exceptional service from CMA. Words can not express my gratitude and how fortunate I was to come in contact with Al and his team. I contacted CMA after hours on Tuesday night and explained my situation. I had become very ill and uncertain of the cause. Al was extremely compassionate to my situation and came out the very next day. In fact, he didn't even leave my house until 10:00 PM. Turns out my house was very toxic and is most likely the cause of my illness. CMA went above and beyond my expectations every step of the way and this testing possibly saved my life!
