BAY AREA LAWN MAINTENANCE

I have a complaint with Bay Area Irrigation & Landscaping. I called them to get an estimate for a sprinkler system that was not working. A very nice young man came out and accessed the problem and I paid $85 for the evaluation/service call. However, I did not receive a diagnosis of the problem nor an estimate to fix the problem. According to the young man, he was going to send it to me when he returned to the office. I called the office for it and was told they needed to come out again. No problem. There was a series of back and forth calls for appointments and 4 months later I still had no visit, no diagnosis and no estimate, so I requested a refund of my $85 because I received nothing, I could use for my money spent. When I requested the refund in writing and itemized by dates everything that happened and why I was requesting it, I was told by the very nice person I had been dealing with that the owner does not give refunds. What??? I did not get anything. Next, I contact my lawn service who referred me to this company to see if they had a direct contact for the owner, David Davis. They reached out to him on my behalf. A week later, I receive from Bay Area Irrigation & Landscaping a refund check and the letter I sent to them with a notation at the bottom that reads “HERE IS YOUR REFUND YOU HAVE BEEN CRYING ABOUT”. What professional businessperson says such a thing???!!! I’m NOT CRYING about a refund; I am asking you to give me back money you took for a service you did not provide!!! The staff is nice, however, the owner……

Great. They came back a few more times for the ant problem because the ants kept moving around. This was free of charge. They have been treating my lawn monthly now and it looks great.

Horrible Customer service, the owner David is rude and condescending. He called me *******!!!! I fired him after that. Doesn't know how to deal with customers. Quality of the service is bad as well and they always mess with the invoices. I hired them for a couple of months ago. I am looking for a new company. Not recommended.

I hired Best Way after discussing my needs with a very nice gentleman who came out and surveyed my lawn & gave me a fair price. Services began on 8/5/2016. I was disappointed with the results because they left large piles of cut grass in clumps on the lawn. I have Bahia that hadn't been mowed in two weeks (the switch-over from my previous service). I allowed that the grass was high and didn't complain. Each week similar piles were left around the yard. I spoke with the crew leaders on several occasions, but the crews seemed to change frequently. Whle, they were coming routinely on Fridays, no one showed up at all for the 9/92016 service. I called the office & spoke w/Don, who insisted that his crew had taken care of my lawn - they had checked it off... No, no one showed that entire week. The next Friday, a different crew showed up & did a fair job, but the grass had grown for 2 weeks again. A new crew showed up on 9/262016, and I spoke with the crew leader about my concerns. His helper (the one with the trimmer) tired to use the device around my lava rocks & I ran outside when I heard the rocks hitting my house (fortunately nothing was broken). As this individual spoke no English, I asked the crew leader to re-instruct him how to use the tool properly. They failed to show up again yesterday 9/30/2016. I have fired them. The salesman was wonderful and I had the highest hopes for this company, but they are very unreliable.

I had a great experience. I would highly recommend them. They are very consistent with the quality of their work. They are very predictable that way. They do a great job.

It was good.  They were timely.  They did good work.

I've been using them for years now. They're very good. They are always available. If you have any problems, like if you get bugs that seem to get inside, they came out right away and they check it out and take care of it. They're very customer oriented.

This company was very responsive, listened to my complaint and provided exactly the service that I needed. He was prompt, respectful and helpful.  The price was very reasonable.

We asked him if he could trim the bushes and weed the sidewalk and he said he could. He trimmed 1 bush and left the rest in the yard untrimmed. He also never took care of the weeds, which I had to pull myself. We had a bad experience with the company and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone!
