 + -1 moreMike was very nice. He was quite busy the day I made contact with him but called several times to let me know how his day was progressing. It was past 8 pm when he showed up, but despite the late hour, he came and fixed it anyway since he knew I'd already been without AC for two days! What dedication to same-dau service! Additionally, he was very honest and priced well.
Description of Work: Air conditioner not working. Didn't have any idea why.

 + -1 moreHe is extremely honest and fair and does great work. He is the best. Their cost depends on what has happened and sometimes it could be a little and sometimes it could be a lot.

 + -1 moreWhen I called his office, an appointed was set up the very next day between 9 and 11 AM. He called later that night an said it would be closer to eleven....saving me some time! He called when he was on his way so I knew he was coming. He was clean and polite, quick and efficient.
Description of Work: Mike inspected the air handler , the filter, the thermostat and the outside components. Showed me the dirt and mold on the fins of the air handler and explained what needed to be done to correct that. Then he explained that someone had put too much freon in the condenser and it has hurt it's efficiency and that's one of the reasons it won't keep cooling , that and the fact that it is almost gone and it won't restart right away. ( that is what my son wanted to know because you could hear the fan running but not cooling.) He put on a device after explaining how it works with my approval to help it restart quicker, but warned me the condenser could go at any time. The dirty air handler he explained can cause you a 20-30 percent decrease in efficiency. ( My son's electric bill was sky high this month) He gave me a detailed estimate of what it would cost to get things right. As heatpump is 10 years old, he said it can keep going another 5 or more years.....so I feel like after today's visit, we will go ahead with repairs and cleaning.
