the problem was just a fix for the moment.  I wanted wood replaced.  I am not sure if anyone can get that stuff off he put on.  I want it replaced with wood.

The guys were super friendly and most importantly knowledgeable about my home. I own an old spanish revival so not many know how to do the work on 90 yr old homes. These guys knew what to do and were very professional and speedy in their work.

I talked with them back and forth and he still hasn't done the work. I wanted him to do the work, but he just kept making excuses to not show up.

Clean up of all waste and construction materials was exemplary. The job was done to my complete satisfaction.

I was under the impression that he was going to remove the rotted wood on the door and replace it.  However, he just painted on wood hardener.  It looks terrible.  I am very disappointed.

He came out to look at the job. A week ago on Monday, he called me and told me that he would do it possibly the following Wednesday at the latest. He didn't show up, when I spoke with him he said his truck broke down. I have heard nothing since. 
I am getting a refund through Angie's List.

They were good.  They were timely.  Their price is good.

Jimmy was great. Our project was to add a family room to our small house. My wife and I have experience in many construction projects over the years and I could not be happier with this contractor. Jimmy has been a GC general contractor since 1974 which caught my attention in the beginning. When I contacted him he was very easy to speak with and gave me a written bid/estimate without any pressure.  He did the framing, concrete footers, concrete block walls, roof trusses, deck, siding, insulation and drywall. We handled our own electrical and HVAC air conditioner. He does not sub out the trades like some general contractors do. All of the employees work directly for him, which I prefer. He kept the project on budget even when we found rotten deck boards that needed replacing. Several times during construction I noticed he went the extra mile. He made the concrete footers an inch thicker than required , he used a more expensive vapor barrier because it insulated the addition better, and curved the deck stairs at my wife request, which was a real pain for the carpenters. All the while, moving things around to keeps us on budget. I know contractors like "change orders" which cost the homeowner extra money. Several times I felt they were treating our money as their own. As expected we had a few issues with the permitting. Jimmy handled everything the building department threw at him, from termite and compaction tests to issues about hurricane strapping. One issue that stands out is the roof trusses. Since our project was just a family room addition, it constituted as a very small job for the truss manufacturers. As a result no one wanted to take on our job for a reasonable cost in a reasonable time. Woods company was able to solicit an extremely low cost with a well known truss company. This would not have been possible if Woods Company did not have several other new homes being built with large truss orders.
