I have used Pawsitively Love numerous times over the last 6 years for my dogs. It's awesome! My dogs love it... and we call it the farm... when I say "do you want to go visit the farm?" They get so excited to go for the ride out to see Christie and Amy and all the other dedicated dog care givers. I am never worried to leave my guys... weather it is 2 days or 2 weeks, always quality care. My dogs come back to me happy and healthy. They continue to make upgrades and improvements to thier facility and I will continue to use them as my first choice for dog boarding.

We have been bringing our dog, Riley, to Pawsitively Love for 5 years. Riley absolutely loves to go there. She has the time of her life running in the large open spaces that are fenced in. It is truly a doggie resort. Christy loves the dogs and her expertise of working with animals for over 40 years is evident. I would highly recommend this business to anyone.

It was an environment where the animals could roam on their own. It was all fenced in. Dogs had their own room basically. The people who ran the place was mother and daughter I believe. They were just terrific and accommodating and they just took great care of my dog.

It was for seven days. They took my dog into their house when she was scared of the weather. They just took care of her like she was their dog.

This is a wonderful and beautiful place to keep a pet. The provider is a person of integrity that truly loves dogs and cares for all of them as if they were her own. Recently there have been false comments made by someone that has never had their dogs boarded or care for at this facility. They were so completely opposite of what I have experienced and seen that it immediately rang false to me as well to many others.. I would never hesitate to take my beloved dog, had I still had him, for the best care there is.

I have been using this boarding facility for 2 years now and have NEVER had a bad experience. They are A plus! I drive very far to take my dogs here because the care they provide is simply superb. Christy and Amy are wonderful. My dogs are always happy and content when I come home from a trip. I cannot say enough good things about them. and cannot imagine why anyone would have any ill feelings towards this facility!

Terrible - They drugged our dogs for 5 days!!!! ***Horrific Dog Boarding Experience Last week (May 30 - June 3) my husband & I boarded our two Catahoula's at Pawsitively Love, a dog resort, so we could enjoy a family reunion in Tennessee. Our dogs are our babies, so naturally I felt unsettled leaving them behind, little did I know, it was my intuition telling me that they wouldn't be placed in the best hands. Aside from not hearing a true report as to how our dogs were doing, or recieving photos of their time there (which was promised), we really did not have any reservations about the facility until it came to picking them up. First, as we drove up the gravel driveway, I made a comment to my huband that it was strange there were no dog paw prints ANYWHERE in the sand/gravel - being there around 8 or 10 dogs staying at this resort. Then, we heard zero barking, which was obviously normal for this resort to have (and what I've witnessed from prior visits). Anyhow, as our dogs approached us, they we trotting very slow & showed no sign of recognizing us. Yes, this was alarming at first but I figured they had just woken up, then I noticed my female Catahoula's eyes - droopy, glazed over and spacey. Infront of the worker I made comments such as, "...they look scared" and "her eyes look weird". Against my better judgement, and something I could kick myself for now, I just brushed it off because I was tired from travel & I just wanted them home :( Getting them in the car was a very quick process. They hopped up & acted ready to go home, as expected. It wasn't until we were leaving the street that something in my stomach was telling me 'something isn't right'. Both dogs were slouchy, falling off of the back seat & they seemed to be in a haze. If they weren't passing out, they were trying their best to stay on the seat. And, their eyes were glazed over - and, we knew then that they had been drugged. With a 45min drive home, we had plenty of time to discuss possibilities and each time we knew there was no other reason for their behavior. Finally, when we got home, both dogs continued to be very sleepy. If they were on the couch and wanted to get off, they would slide their bodies off & land on the carpet not even correcting their own position once on the floor. Throwing up & dry heaving happened several times, also, body movements were extremely slow, and 'off'. There was a ton of drinking water but they did not want to eat. I called the Martin County Emergency Clinic and they concluded that our dogs 1) were given a sedative 2) tranquilized 3) got into a toxin. We were told to keep them in close proximity to keep them safe and to call the resort with our concern. Well, instead of the resort feeling concerned & understanding, or reassuring me that they would check their facility for something, I was completely dismissed & called names on the other end. The owner should've said "I can assure you nothing was done but for your concern and mine, I will double check with my staff and resort that nothing harmed your dogs". Nope, she accused me of trying to get money from her - which was never ever brought up! I tried my best to stay on topic & reitterate that i JUST wanted to know what was given to my dogs!!! Sadly, with no resolution in sight, I hung up on her. We watched the dogs throughout the night and brought them to our local vet first thing this morning. One of our pups showed signs of normal behavior, while the other was still throwing up & slightly sluggish. Our vet did a bloodwork test & drug test on one dog and it came back inconclusive, however, they said that Benedryl CANNOT be traced & that is likely what was given to them. Let me start by saying, I am aware Benedryl is safe for dogs (in moderation). However, we NEVER gave permission for our dogs to be given this, and we PAID for a roam free resort in which we expected our pups to LOVE the openness & playing. There was no reason to give our dogs a drug to sedate them, and if they felt for any reason to give my dogs something, a phone call & HONESTY is expected!!!!! Because of their unlawfulnss, I can only rely on my thoughts to assume what was going on behind those fences. It has made my husband & I absolutely SICK to think of the possible experiences they have endured. I will keep pursing the notion to make everyone aware of this horrific place! ****Many prior clients have come forward to me and claim the exact scenario!!!! Even an ex employee has stated he NEVER saw the dogs playing, and they were sedated!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ****Also, scheduled tours are SCHEDULED for a reason - it's all a great look but absolutely horrible!

"[Member Name Removed] The woman above is spear heading a massive character assassination of myself and my beautiful dog resort with over a thousand people. Her accusation is that we drugged her dogs. The basis of her bash is a negative test result from her own vet that did not find any drugs in her dogs blood. She STATES that her vet said ( a he said she said) that MAYBE we gave her dogs benadryl but she has no proof of that either because there is no drug test for this medicine. She claims that 2 vets concluded a diagnosis over the phone that her dogs were drugged. We think not, no vet would take on a liability to that degree. She claims that there were no foot prints in the sand around the dog hotel that we weren't letting any dogs out because they were all drugged. But she checked into the dog hotel the Tuesday after memorial day and we had 40 dogs documented at our facility. She and her husband walked down the center isle to the suite her dog was going to stay and all of the dogs were barking like crazy. Is she suggesting that not 1 of these dogs went out to pee and poop for 5 days did we airlift each dog from the cars to the dog hotel to avoid any foot prints. We say that the statements made by this woman and her husband and the over a thousand people are hilarious. Below her review is a picture of a former employee making a nasty comment about us to this group of haters and bashers. So one of our longtime customers posted this former employee's previous review next to the new one and we would like to know which one is the truth. We have just begun to post legitimate documents to discredit her and anyone of her many followers. Many of these individuals never boarded their dogs here but are writing a pack of lies to please their own delusional fantasies and to make [Member Name Removed] happy. This is the new normal and just for the record #1 they have no proof, #2 Animal Care and Control would not pick this up,#3 the press wanted nothing to do with her crap, and the administrators of her blog shut the whole thing down as soon as they realized what was happening. The only thing this woman and her husband have left is all of the bad reviews they can cram on these review sites. This is a truck load of dysfunctional people that have nothing to do but be as nasty as they can. These are not animal activists these are haters and bashers with no credibility. We say crawl down the rat hole you crawled out of and find somthing constructive to do with yourselves."

The worst place ever. The owner needs to be held accountable for her awful business practices. She doesn't ask for veterinarian records for any of the dogs. Any number of diseases can be passed to all the wonderful dogs in her care. When I didn't have the full amount to pay Christi locked the gates and would not let me and my dog leave until I had a friend bring her the money. They are hurting for business and that is a shame but not surprising. Take your dog someplace else, anyplace else!!!!

We have boarded our dogs 3 times with Christy. This place is awesome. No cages just big suites furnished like home. Our dogs get a suite to themselves with a sectional couch to lay on. The place is always very clean and beautiful. Our dogs come home exhausted and don't mine being dropped back off when they go back. So glad we found this place so we can go away and not worry about our dogs.

I would not hesitate to use this place again in the future. This is the perfect location to keep my dogs when we go out of town. The owners are very nice and are truly dog lovers. I love that the dogs have full access to indoors and outdoors whenever they want. It is also a very beautiful property.
