Good quality work. Friendly owner and crew. Had to call back for some minor adjustments. They had no problem with that and are coming back today.

The owner was very professional and helpful with the options available to us.We liked they were able to use a truck with a lift to dispose of the old shingles and material instead of a dumpster sitting in our yard.Crew showed up on time and worked through the day to finish the job as soon as possible and it was a hot day.I guess the only small complaint was finding some old nails around the house they missed during cleanup.Overall great job,would definitely use them again.

We've used them before and they've done a good job.  So far , so good.  Very fair pricing. Definitely would recommend them and use them again.

They showed up when they said they would, did the work within 3 days and cleaned up completely. Twelve months later the roof is doing exactly what it should and looks nice too.

Large crew showed up on time as promised. The old roof was completely stripped. 3 1/2 sheets of new plywood and 10' of fascia board were used to replace existing rotted wood, and new roofing felt dried in. The weather was a bit threatening, but they used tarps and worked between the showers. There was no instance of rain getting at unprotected areas of the house. The next day, early, shingles were delivered, the crew showed up about 8:30AM, and they were done about 4:30PM. Everything was cleaned up very well. No leaks. A few small cosmetic issues were addressed quickly during the following week. Final payment was made after they delivered the manufacturer's warranty. They even fixed a cosmetic problem that was not their issue since it was there originally, before they began work. (This was done after they were paid in full.) Given the competitive pricing, the great warranty from GAF and the speed and professionalism of the crew, this was a winner hands-down.

This is an update of my prior review. As it turns out, when our roof was replaced in 2010, the crew inadvertently removed a small vent which was for the gas water heater. We did not know this until our water heater broke and we had to have it replaced. I called Mr. O'Neal's office. He was out so I left a message with the secretary; he returned my call within 10 minutes. Neil came to the house to inspect the attic where the vent was supposed to be located, and pulled his notes from the original roof job. He was honest and apologetic -- he said it looked like the error was made by his crew. He installed a new chimney/vent where the old one had been located (which required cutting a new hole in the new roof) as soon as it stopped raining without any charge to us. What a pleasure to deal with a contractor who is not only honest, but who accepts responsibility and who is committed to making things right. I would recommend Neil O'Neal Jr. Roofing to everyone -- he is someone you can trust.

I purchased this little house for my daughter and her husband. The roof had old materials...several layers in fact. Neal worked with the city of Lake Worth to make sure all of the work that was done met the requirements for a house in the historical district. Even the flashing looks like white, painted trip along the top of the house. We are so happy with Neal's work.

We utilized O'Neil Sr Roofing to replace our entire roof in April of 2012 for $5,000. We were given a 5 year warranty. 6 weeks ago with the Florida rains, our roof began to leak in more places than prior to the replacement! We contacted O'Neil Sr to make repairs and honor his 5 year warranty. He said he is now 'retired' and directed us to his son, O'Neil Jr whom he said would 'take good care of us'. O'Neil Jr would NOT return phone calls regardless of several attempts over a period of about 6 weeks. Meanwhile, more water damaged one of our bedroom ceilings to the point it has caved in and ruined furniture, carpets, etc, as well as requiring even more money to fix the original leakings and NOW to fix our ceiling and subsequent water damages. I finally was able to get a hold of O'Neil Jr by phone. When I explained to him what happened, he LAUGHED and said he did not want me to call him anymore! So much for this 'family' business and their ethics of 'taking care of us'! So much for honoring supposed 5 year warranties. So much for treating an 83 year old grandmother with dignity and respect for her hard earned savings which are now criminally paying for O'Neil Sr 'retirement'. What about my Grandmother's hard earned retirement?!!! This Company should be forced out of business....we have filed complaints with Better Business Bureau as well as contacting various Palm Beach County contractors licensing agencies to inform them of this maliciousness. PLEASE do not use O'Neil Jr. Roofing!!!!! Consider yourself warned!!!!!

Roofer sent over laborer to repair the roof. Not all rotten wood was replaced. Had to call company. Was overcharged and discussed this with company who agreed and reduced the overcharge. Work was completed and roof no longer leaks.

Job seemed to go as scheduled and was performed to our satisfaction. After job completed we attempted to re-contact the company in regards to the poolhouse bathroom exhaust fan outlet roof placement but the company would not return our repeated calls.

I never heard from them if they were too busy for small job then they should have said so. I think they were very unprofessional.

Neal arrived on time to examine the site of what we assumed was a roof leak. He went up on the roof and on a few minutes had diagnosed the issue. He took photos on his phone to illustrate what was wrong and what needed to be done. Long story short, the contractor who had built the roof when our addition was built had built a flat part up to the shingles rather than sloping the shingles over the flat part. That person sealed the area well, but 5+ years later, the sealant/tar/whatever was wearing down.
Within 48 hours, I was provided with a quote that was more than reasonable. The job was started and completed the same day, roughly two weeks after initial consultation.
I found Neal to be professional and personable and would not hesitate to call him if I have future roofing issues.

He is pretty good. I am going to use him again for different roofs that we have got to get done here with flat roofs. I had a good experience with him and the people who worked with him. There are a couple of people here who are happy with him, and I had a real good experience with Neil O'Neal. His price was great, and his service was good. There were a couple of little problems, and he fixed them. We haven't had any problems in the last year and a half with any of our roofs. I chose him because he was a little less in price than another person that we really like also, although he used the same material and tiles and everything. I will use them again in the future.

The leak in the roof was running down the inside of an exterior wall. I live in a complex, and he does a lot of work here and he does work for the Home Owner's Association. I wanted to get a couple of quotes, and O'Neal's quote was much more reasonable than the other providers. He was very accommodating and pointed out things to me. He showed me rotten wood and what they had replaced. They water-tested it, but it still was leaking a little bit, so they ripped out even more. I felt they did a very good job. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.

I was very satisfied with the work they did. The home inspector was pleased with the quality of their work.

They did an outstanding job. The clean up was very complete. I would highly recommend them to anyone for a repair or a new roof. He is a gentlemen and a very nice, honest and decent person.

Neil O'Neal Jr. (be careful -- his father also has a roofing company! -- was the sub hired by my GC to do the roofing work. Neil's crew were professionals from start to finish. They had the old roof off and the new one on i 10 days. There were no issues (at least, that we were aware of), the price was great, and the roof looks fantastic.

Everything went extremely well. I did not have to be at home and the work was done quickly and very neatly.
