Home inspection was performed but failed to mention defective plumbing throughout.  Purchased home based on favorable inspection.  Suffered significant water damage and mold shortly thereafter.  Learned we have PBT plumbing that was visible upon home inspection and should have been reported to us.

"Generally the type of plumbing pipe is not reported in a home inspection. There was no evidence of any water leaks or any indication there ever were any leaks. Hot water heater, both bathrooms and kitchen were checked as well as exterior water supply."
