We have been in business for 17 years. The vast majority of our business comes via word-of-mouth, which speaks volumes about our quality of work. We believe in doing the job correctly the first time and always putting the customer first. With our business, we offer a warranty for the lifespan of the existing roof on all repairs and a ten year warranty on labor for all re-roofs. Financing available through Renovate America

Due to heavy rains on Memorial Day weekend, I discovered that the flat roof over my patio was leaking. I contacted several roofing companies for quotes. E.W. MacDowell provided the best quote for the work. The crew came out on a very hot sunny day and finished the work in one day (11 hours). They replaced all damaged wood, beams and created a tapered roof line to prevent water from getting behind the roof. The work looks great. They also replaced 40 feet of fascia and stuccoed the cracked ceiling. Would definitely recommend them to someone looking for quality work at a fair price.

What a great experience! Working with Evans, Kaitlyn and the crew was a very pleasant experience. From our first consultation to the final inspection, they kept me informed of what was happening every step of the way. Regarding inspections - the person who came to our house said it was one of the best jobs he had ever seen. I definitely recommend them to anyone needing roofing or repairs.

We had a great experience. Evans came out shortly after we called to survey and give us a quote. We met with about 4 other contractors and Evans seemed most knowledgable and professional. His crew came out -- arrived right on time -- and did the work quickly without issue. Great work and great warranty offered!

When Evans first came for the estimate I almost passed out from sticker shock. He explained that the leaks causing the problems could be anywhere above them and all of the tiles and roofing had to be removed from the entire effected area after which any damaged wood would also have to be replaced. It took a couple of days for me to bite the bullet and get started. The job was much bigger than I expected requiring major tile removal at all 5 sites. They also found a sixth leak which was included with no additional cost. The crew was on time everyday and they work very hard. Any time I had a question, Evans was easy to contact by the magic of Kaitlyn in his office who has been known to return calls before you can finish leaving the message. When the crew finished on the last day, the supervisor, Castillo, Did the final finishing work and all traces of the repairs having been done disappeared. He made sure I was satisfied before he left. Of the hundreds of tiles removed, only one had to be replaced, and that is in an obscure place in the back, leaving the roof unblemished. And finally, the 5 areas originally mentioned in the quote are warranted for the life of the roof which is probably around 15 years.

Excellent job and excellent service. I was impressed from the start as the company returned my phone call on Memorial Day. They were transparent with their estimate and worked diligently to fix my roof. I was worried because all of my neighbors said that getting a roofer would take months, that they would try to cut corners, etc. I had the complete opposite experience and have told all of my neighbors that THIS is the company to use in the future if they need roofing work.

We needed to do something about a leak in one of our condos after hurricane Irma. Evans recommended a repair instead of a replace, as there is remaining life left on the roof. Other roofers just wanted to make more money by doing an unnecessary full roof replacement. The recent rains have proven the right choice.

He came out to look at the roof and gave me an estimate. And since I had waited he wanted to come out and look at it again to update the estimate. After he gave me the second estimate I tried to call him and I did't get an answer back other than he was out of state and would contact me once he returned. I felt very comfortable with him and wanted him to be the one to put a new roof on my house.

The project went great. Ryan came by to inspect everything and gave me a very fair estimate. We agreed on terms and they came on time, on the day they were supposed to. I let them know that I had just cleaned the patio and would appreciate it if they kept it that way. Not only did they do a great job on the roof, but I could see someone all day long making sure everything stayed clean out there. When they were done, it was almost like they were never there except no more leaky roof! I highly recommend them to anyone.

This company is always professional, courteous and responsive. They quickly locate the cause and location of roof leaks and explain the problems and solutions very clearly. This is promptly followed up with a clear and detailed written proposal. Once the job is accepted they show up when promised. The work is done neatly and efficiently. Once completed, they provide photographs of all of the steps both before and after the repairs. In my case they notified me that previous work done by another roofing company was not as thorough as their work, in that the previous company failed to replace the wet and rotted plywood from that previous leak. Since no photos were provided by that company I would never have been aware of that hidden issue. Finally, MacDowell guarantees all of its repairs for the life of the roof. My previous company (the one that left the rotted plywood) provided a very limited guarantee. I really trust these guys!!!

Everything went well. They came on time did the job and even repaired the pipes on my solar pool heating system. They even offered to paint the new flashing for me. I had used them previously for my sons roof in lake Worth on replacing an entire cement tile roof. I have been completely satisfied with them. My neighbor chose to use another company in the area instead of McDowell to replace their roof for $3K less. They are paying for their mistake, their roof did not pass inspection the first time and they now have leaks.
