We have a Vita Spa brand hot tub that now is 17 years old. It began leaking significantly and upon inspection I saw that old plumbing was the primary cause.
<><> Being very handy, I decided that, if I could find the parts, I'd repair it myself and save a whole lot of money.
<><> I've known about Waterline Spas for more than a decade, have gone to them for parts and support several times before, and have been very happy with the result. But this time was a real challenge because certain Vita Spa parts are no longer available and moving the old plumbing during repairs caused other leaking.
<><> Owner Marshall and (his wife?) were again welcoming and extraordinarily helpful each of the 5 times I went to them over a two-week period. In one case, I needed to replace a silicone gasket in a diverter valve. They took the time to look through their stock room to find something close enough I could modify it to work. All that for a $3.21 sale.
<><> In conclusion, if you need repair parts for whatever brand of spa or hot tub you have, your local source should be Waterline Spas.

I would like to say I would never recommend them to anyone ,   they  have  very bad  service    , once you buy  the unit  and  I will say the gentleman that came  out was very professional,    but the  main  store   is terrible ,,,, you get the run around and  never get return calls  about  when  they are coming or   most times   never  show up  even when scheduled ,,,,  after  many time of calling them I get a letter never to call them again ,,,,   even though I have a contract with them ,  for  5 yrs of  parts and labor ,,,, they just do not want to service there product ,,,     I  would tell everyone  never  to buy from them ,,,   I can not believe they have an A rating,   it is a definite and complete   F  rating  ,,,,,  after  7 months    still  nothing done      DO NOT BUY FROM THEM

They had two young guys that showed up on time.  They had to take down my screen door on my lanai.  They also had to undo the electrical line.  The pumped out the water. They unbelievably were able to remove the hot tub as it was falling apart. They got it out very carefully through the doorway of my lanai.  It was amazing; I didn't think they could do it.  They gave me some brand new screws when putting my lanai door back on.  They caused me no damages.  They even sent someone out to cut out the electrical cord that was exposed; he actually removed the entire cord.  While removing the cord it did leave a small hole in my lanai.  I did ask for some small concrete or something to cover up the hole.  This is definitely not a big deal, but I would have appreciated the concrete.  I would hire them again.  I feel I got my moneys worth.  They were just great and I would highly recommend them.

In 2009 Waterline removed and re-installed a motor in my hot tub that needed to be repaired. While I had no issues with the quality of the work that was done I did have quite a problem getting the motor re-installed in a timely manner. This year (2010) the same motor went bad and I called Waterline to schedule an appointment to have a service tech come out and make a recommendation as to whether the motor could be repaired again or if it should be replaced. I spoke with Marshall at Waterline and described the problem. Marshall gave my name and phone number to the service tech who called me the next day to set up an appointment. The service tech arrived as scheduled, examined the motor and recommended that it be replaced. The service tech told me I would receive a call to give me the pricing on a new motor. The next day I received a call and was given two options. I decided to look online for a replacement motor and found one that was less expensive that what I had been quoted. I purchased this motor and when it was delivered I again called Waterline to schedule an appointment to have the new motor installed by the service tech. The next day the service tech called me and we arranged an appointment time. The service tech arrived as scheduled and the new motor was installed with no problems. My hot tub is now working again good as new! This experience with Waterline was very good and I would not have any hesitation to call Waterline again in the future.
Response from WATERLINE SPAS & BACKYARD LEISURE
"Glad I waited a day to respond to this Report. Here are the parts he left out. 1. When quoted the cost to repair his spa equipment, he declined our offer. Our tech offered to remove his pump, motor. NO CHARGE. When Dave works for nothing, he is not compelled to follow a rigid time scheduled. The communication description is not entirely accurate, but we could have done a much better job."

They showed up on time. Didn't want me to drain the spa so they could check it over for any problems before they disconnected it. They had a pump to drain it quickly. They also had to take down a section of the lanai to move it out. They put the screen back together with no problems.

They are very good. The spa keeps shutting down, and they keep fixing it! He fixed a GFI switch in the spa. He didn't have the part needed, so he drove up to Lowe's, got the part, and came right back and fixed it.

THEY WERE VERY PROMPT AND FRIENDLY. THEY GAVE AN ESTIMATE AND EXPLAINED EVERYTHING THEY NEEDED TO DO TO GET IT UP TO CURRENT ELECTRICAL CODE.
