SEARS HOME IMPROVEMENT PRODUCTS

The shower project from ****! Can you image taking over five months and $5600 to purchase and install a new shower. We are talking shower, not new bathroom or kitchen, just one simple shower. Sears Home Improvements promised a 1-3 day install that ran for over five months. It took three sets of contractors, three reorder of parts and literally scores of phone calls to the Sears Home Improvements Office in Charlotte in get the job done. Two of the Sears techs measured incorrectly, and two others messed up the installation. My initial decision to use Sears over local, much cheaper tradesmen was based on their 1-3 days for installation, and complete customer satisfaction. Forget the 1-3 days, it was over five months, with half of that time having the shower out of commission and unusable. As far as customer satisfaction is concerned, Sears didn't give a hoot about my concerns, frustrations or numerous requests to get informed of the status of the project. Oh, did mention the black flies that came into my bathroom and house because the first set of installers failed to seal the drain leading to the septic tank. I don't know which was worse, the ineptness of the project install people or the total lack of any pretense of keeping me in the loop during the needless delays. You would think Sears values their corporate reputation enough to at least keep the customers that have supported them for decades happy. Sears used to be my go-to source for automotive repair, appliance service and repair, and numerous other consumer needs. That horrible experience has changed any thoughts I might have of purchasing anything from Sears in the future. Sad but true.

THEY DAY THEY CAME OUT WAS GOOD. THEY GOT RIGHT TO WORK AND INSTALLED THE WINDOWS. THEY WORKED UNTIL THEY WERE DONE. SEARS REPLACES THEIR WINDOWS, BUT THEY HAVE TO MAKE THEM. THE TYPE OF WINDOW WE WANTED FOR THE BATHROOM COULDN'T BE MADE.

THEY'RE ALWAYS GOOD TO WORK WITH. THEY DO A GOOD JOB. THEY PUT UP A GOOD DOOR THAT WORKS PROPERLY. THEY WERE FINE. I WOULD ALSO SAY THEY WERE PROFESSIONAL.

EVERYTHING WAS GOOD AND PERFECT. WE WENT INTO THE STORE, AND THEY OFFERED ME THE INSTALLATION. I WAS SATISFIED WITH THE PRICE. THE PROFESSIONALISM WAS FINE.

THEY WERE VERY RESPONSIBLE. THEY WERE VERY PRESENTABLE IN THEIR COMING, AND THEY STUCK BY THEIR WORKMANSHIP. THEY WERE VERY GOOD ABOUT RETURNING CALLS AND WERE VERY PROMPT WITH THAT.

THEY WERE REALLY PROFESSIONAL AND VERY EFFICIENT, AND WE FELT WE GOT A VERY GOOD DEAL FROM THEM. THEY CAME AND DID THERE JOB IN A VERY FAST TIME. THEY ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTIONS, AND THEY DID THEIR JOB VERY WELL.

I AM SATISFIED WITH SEARS WORKMANSHIP. THE TECHNICIANS ARE PUNCTUAL AND PROFESSIONAL. IT ONLY TOOK HIM ABOUT AN HOUR TO REPAIR MY WASHER. NOW I'M FINALLY ABLE TO WASH A LOAD OF CLOTHES WITHOUT HEARING A LOUD THUMPING NOISE.

I THINK THAT THE REPAIRMAN THEY SENT OUT FOR THE FIRST VISIT DIDN'T KNOW WHAT HE WAS DOING. NOR DID THE SECOND GUY BECAUSE HE DIAGNOSED IT INCORRECTLY AS WELL. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE STAFF SCHEDULED SEARS TO COME OUT TO EARLY.

SEARS DID A REAL GOOD JOB. THEY CAME RIGHT AWAY AND GOT EVERYTHING FIXED IN A TIMELY MANNER. IT ALL WORKS GREAT NOW, I HAVE ICE. I AM HAPPY AND SATISFIED WITH THEIR SERVICES.

I LIKE SEARS A LOT, THEY ARE ALWAYS POLITE AND GET OUT TO MY HOUSE VERY QUICKLY. THE SERVICE MAN THAT FIXED MY DISHWASHER DEFINITELY KNEW WHAT HE WAS DOING. HE HAD IT WORKING AGAIN IN NO TIME.

I BELIEVE THIS COMPANY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB OF REPLACING MY ICE MAKER IN A TIMELY MANNER. MY ICE MAKER MAKES A LOT MORE ICE AND LARGER ICE CUBES. THE STAFF IS PROFESSIONAL AND FRIENDLY.

I BELIEVE THEY PERFORMED AN EXCELLENT JOB. MY WASHING MACHINE WORKS LIKE NEW. THIS COMPANY DID AN OUTSTANDING JOB OF TRYING TO GO OUT OF THEIR WAY TO MAKE THE CUSTOMER HAPPY.

I AM SO PLEASED THAT I WAS ABLE TO GET MY ICE MAKER FIXED BEFORE THE HOLIDAY SEASON. THE REPAIRMAN GAVE ME A LITTLE ADVICE ON MAKING SURE THAT WE REMOVE SOME OF THE BUILT UP ICE TO KEEP IT RUNNING CORRECTLY.

I WAS REALLY PLEASED WITH THE SERVICES THAT WERE PROVIDED. ONE THING I REALLY LIKED IS THEY ALWAYS CAME PREPARED WITH THE PARTS. THE WORKERS WORKED EFFICIENTLY AND IN A PROFESSIONAL MANNER.

SEARS IS THE ONLY LOCAL APPLIANCE STORE I USE. THEY HAVE REASONABLE PRICES AND WONDERFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE. THE REPAIRMAN WAS PUNCTUAL AND WELL TRAINED IN HIS WORK. HE EVEN CLEANED UP HIS MESS WHEN THE JOB WAS COMPLETED.

I HAVE USED THIS COMPANY FOR SEVERAL OTHER SERVICES. THEY ALWAYS PROVIDE ME WITH GREAT SERVICE. THE WORKERS MEASURED THE FLOORS ACCURATELY AND INSTALLED THE CARPET PROPERLY. THE NEW CARPET MAKES MY HOME ENCHANTING.

I WAS ECSTATIC TO SEE THAT THE NEW SIDING WAS COMPLETELY INSTALLED WITHIN THREE DAYS. I HAVE A TWO-STORY HOME AND THE CHANGE IN APPEARANCE, DUE TO THE NEW SIDING IS AMAZING.

I BELIEVE THIS COMPANY DID A FANTASTIC JOB OF MAKING AN APPOINTMENT THAT WAS CONVENIENT FOR ME. THE WATER IN MY DISHWASHER NOW GETS A LOT HOTTER AND THEREFORE MY DISHES ARE GETTING CLEANER.

THIS COMPANY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB COMING OUT IN A TIMELY MANNER AND GETTING THE SOAP DISPENSER FIXED. THE DOOR NOW STAYS SHUT UNTIL IT SHOULD COME OPEN AND MY DISHES ARE CLEANER.

I HAVE USED SEARS FOR REPAIRS ON VARIOUS APPLIANCES OVER THE YEARS. I HAVE NEVER HAD A TIME WHEN SEARS WAS NOT ABLE TO DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF THE PROBLEM WITH AN APPLIANCE. MY APPLIANCES HAVE ALWAYS BEEN REPAIRED WITHIN A SHORT TIME.

REPLACING TWENTY WINDOWS IN MY OLDER HOME WAS A BIG JOB, BUT SEARS WAS UP TO THE CHALLENGE. I RECEIVED GOOD QUALITY WINDOWS, AND CONSIDERING THE PREPARATION WORK NECESSARY, THE PRICE WAS FANTASTIC.

I HAVE BEEN SAVED FROM HAVING TO PURCHASE NEW APPLIANCES BECAUSE I ASKED SEARS TO LOOK AT THINGS FIRST. MY APPLIANCES HAVE LASTED MANY YEARS DUE TO THEIR SUGGESTIONS AND MAINTENANCE ASSISTANCE WHEN I HAVE A PROBLEM.
