First, let me explain that I called several electricians. No one would even pretend to know what I needed without first coming out and charging me at least an hour just to take a look. But, when I called Pride, he was willing to listen to what I said, ask questions, and get me to focus on the problem. He gave me an overall idea of what it would take to fix, both in time and money. He advised me when I told him what our inspection report said, and explained everything that it meant as well as what they would have to do. Just the fact that he was willing to explain and give me some idea of what we were facing, gave me the assurance that they were knowledgeable and cared... and they didn't treat me like some "dumb woman". The work was scheduled for the NEXT DAY. They were about 20-25 min. late (hence the "B" on punctuality), but got right to work. There wasn't a moment I thought they ever stopped (other than when I asked them to pull down a box I didn't know was in the attic). They explained what they did as they went, and worked as fast as they could. I really appreciated their work. The bill was just a flat total, and didn't really break down the details of the work. I wish there could be a more detailed report-either on the spot, or at a later time, to see how things are broken down.

The company was hired to replace my electrical main junction box. They put one in that had used parts in it and left a hole in my wall. They did come out and repair the hole but only because I had not paid them. A few days after they left, the fans and lights in our rec room went out. These are lights and fans that have been working for years. They refused to fix this problem. The business owner became bellicose on the phone.

"In response to this posting, we went out to his home & found an old hazardous FPE panel & had him "Google" FPE & he agreed so we ordered him a BRAND NEW panel & breakers (invoice w/ member as the PO) & returned to replace it. The hole was made because the circuits (38 plus feeders) were fed from both the top & bottom of the panel so wall has to be cut to fit it. He called me up 3 weeks later & told me we put used parts in his house & that his ceiling fans weren't working. I had Mike drive across town to check out the problem. When he got there Mike tried to show him that there was proper voltage leaving all of his NEW breakers but he said he didn't know anything about electricity. Mike said the problem with the fans could be unrelated & he said he didn't believe in coincidences & that we had better fix them or he would put us on the internet to 30 million people. He called me & I spoke to him & ask him not to slander us. He said he only writes the truth & that we replaced his panel & now his fans don't work I said we replaced your panel 3 weeks ago & everything is working ok & 3 days ago your fans are out & they may not be related problems. He said "*Expletive* You" & threw Mike's phone across the room almost hitting him. We have never ever put in used parts anywhere at any time & we responded the same day as the complaint. It appears that from now on anything that electrically goes wrong at his home will be our responsibility because he doesn't believe in coincidences."

I WAS SATISFIED. THEY GOT IT DONE, ALTHOUGH I DO HAVE A PROBLEM WITH ONE OF THEM. THE LIGHT IS NOT WORKING AGAIN. WERE NOT SURE IF THATS BECAUSE OF ANYTHING THEY DID. ITS NOT A PRIORITY RIGHT NOW.

JIMMY WAS VERY NICE AND PROFESSIONAL. HE KNEW EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED AND WHAT I NEEDED WHEN INSTALLING EVERYTHING. HE STAYED ON TASK HOWEVER, HE DIDN'T FINISH CLEANING THE KITCHEN COUNTER WHEN HE WAS DONE.

THERE WERE TWO WORKERS AND ONE WAS IN TRAINING AND WAS OF LITTLE TO NO HELP TO THE MAIN ELECTRICIAN. THEY WERE MESSY AND SLOW AND TOOK 45 MINUTES PUTTING A FAN TOGETHER TO PUT IN ONE OF THE ROOMS. THEY FORGOT ONE FAN BEAM AND HAD TO COME BACK ON ANOTHER DAY TO COMPLETE THE JOB, COSTING ME A SECOND TRIP FEE! MY COMPLAINTS TO THE OWNER FELL ON DEAF EARS. I HAVE TOLD ALL OF MY FRIENDS TO NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!

"THE MEMBER WAS NOT ACCURATE OF HER JOB DESCRIPTION ON THE TELEPHONE, WHICH WAS WHY THE ELECTRICIAN DID NOT HAVE THE 2ND BRACE THAT WAS NEEDED. THERE WAS NEVER AND IS NEVER A SECOND TRIP CHARGE ON SERVICE THAT IS NOT COMPLETED ON THE INTIAL CALL. THE CUSTOMER IS ONLY CHARGED FOR THE WORKING TIME BY THE QUARTER HOUR AFTER THE FIRST HOUR."
