Owner came with crew. Very nice and found some problems with my existing panels. Made it through Hurricane Matthew so good job!!! I would use them again

I had M & K Solar replace my solar panels on February 26, 2015 . The installation process went well. A few months ago I noticed one of the panels buckling. I called Dave at M & K Solar and he sent out a couple of gentlemen to fix it. When they finished there was still a buckle in the panel but much smaller. I called Dave and he said to give it a month or so and it would probably straighten out. I waited for the panel to straighten and when it didn't, I called M & K Solar Service a couple of times and left messages with no response. Then on Monday, October 10, 2016 I called again and spoke to Dave and he tells me there is nothing he can do and he tells me the buckle is not causing any performance issues. I am going to get a second opinion to see why the panel is buckling. I thought I would caution anyone looking to do business with M & K Solar to think twice. I have a 12 year warranty but that does not seem to matter.

M&K installed the solar panels originally. It's so nice that they respond to a problem several years later. He found the leaks without turning the water on. Darn squirrels! Thanks.

Have used M&K Solar services for over 20 years.  Dave is always punctual and honest.  I know he will do a great job and at a fair price.  Have had him install a solar system, salt system, an other misc. repairs.  Always extremely satisfied.

We have been using M&K for over 10 years.  We occasionally get a leak with our system and they do a great job.  They are prompt in responding.  Price is always reasonable.

It went very well. They were very nice and thorough. They repainted some of the pipes. The price was much lower than any of the other solar companies I called.

Originally contracted Mand K to remove and reinstall my existing panels once the roof job was done. They advised that they would replace any bad fittings and install better than OEM mounting brackets to keep the panels secure. As two of my panels had leaked in the past and they all looked pretty poor once they were on the ground where I could see them up close, I decided to get a quote on new ones. Since I was already paying remove/install labor, I was pleasantly surprised that the new panels were fairly affordable. They weren't cheap, but for a couple grand I have all new panels, new hardware and it's all properly installed to the approval of my roofer, who assured me that my warranty will remain intact.
The experience with Mand K was also very pleasant. They returned calls promptly, showed up when promised and I barely knew they were there. They took care of bypassing the system to prevent leaks (lucky for me as one of my check valves was bad) and were very efficient. They came, finished up and left, taking all of the old debris with them so there was absolutely no effort or stress on my part.
You should note that they do not accept credit cards, to help keep costs competitive. They simply sent me an invoice when the job was done and I mailed them a check. Unusual today to have a company work on a hand shake agreement and extend terms to make payment as convenient as possible.
A few months later my pool is nice and warm and my solar panels look neat and professionally installed, a big difference from the old ones with the rusty screws and brackets that were a source of constant worry. I am confident that if I ever do have a problem (not anticipated), they would stand behind their work without any problem.
I would happily recommend them to anyone who needs their solar panels serviced or replaced. Instead of risking your neck on a hot roof and risking causing a leak, pay a few bucks to let the professionals do it. You'll be glad you did, I sure am!

I have used Dave's expertise for many years and he has always been very punctual, professional, and informative. Great guy!

The work went well, I was told to call when the work needed to be done (removal and re-installation) and Dave and his crew where completing their work in a day or two. I would not hesitate to call them the next time in need work on my pool solar heating system.

M and K provided excellent customer service. They picked up the panels for me, brought them to the house and installed them. They gave me good advice on the best way to set up the system. When I've had a question or a problem (which is rare) they answer quickly, come directly over and fix it...no charge!

The process went very well. They showed up when they said they would and did a great job. They actually came a day later than planned (this wasn't a rush job) due to a cold snap generating other service requests for them, but they called us and rescheduled, so there was no problem or confusion. They cleaned and/or painted the piping and connections, so things look nice and neat and professional. Price was exactly as quoted from the first phone call. David left the bill and requested I mail a check after I had inspected their work. I couldn't ask for better service.

We have been using Mand K since we built our home in 1996 and they installed the original solar panels for our pool/spa. They are consummate professionals. Fair prices, better than excellent work, stand behind their product, and treat their customers with respect. Our only complaint, and it is a very minor one, is that they don't reply very promptly to service call requests left on their voicemail. That being said, they are the best solar company we have ever had and we would NEVER consider switching. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

They did an outstanding job. I'd recommend them to anyone. They also did a bit of repair since we had a roof leak. Everything was completed as requested and indicated.

M and K Solar was very prompt in removing solar system from our roof, carefully saving and storing our system for months until new roof was installed. After this sevev month process waiting for the roof, they were very quick to reinstall the solar system.
