They caused damage to my ventilation system while trying to repair it. My electric bill went through the roof after 1 year and the ventilation unit burned out! I would NOT recommend this company to anyone!!! I'm still paying on this crap at an interest that went from 5.3% to now 13.99%!!!

We have been very pleased with Positive Energy Solar on all aspects of the purchase, design and installation
of solar for our home. Most of all the people really cared what we wanted and needed. Extremely impressed!

This company phoned a senior citizen on a fixed income and implied that they were from Tampa Electric and wanted to perform an energy efficiency test at her home. They scheduled an appointment and then proceeded to sell her items that she did not need and could not afford.

The home is in reverse mortgage. Homewise had her fill out a credit application and proceeded to run it within various finance companies. Most declined but Aqua Finance apparently approved a revolving account. Aqua financed the $4,688.00 at 3.9% for the first year and 13.9% on year two and thereafter.

Homewise is very experienced. Your items will be installed quickly. Leaving absolutely no room for a 3 day contract cancellation that is required by law. They cover every base. Removal will either leave you without a hot water heater or a hole in your brand new roof. They are even ashamed to use their real names. Their Motto is when the finance company calls to " JUST SAY YES".

They even leave the seniors notes just in case  they forget. "JUST SAY YES".

Homewise works so quickly that sometimes they lose track. If you have failed to "JUST SAY YES" to the finance company then they can't close their file. I think that just means they can't get paid. But hey what do I know. If this happens you may get several calls. They explain that this is your last shot. After this, no more warnings. You will owe them CASH immediately.

Homewise makes it perfectly clear that their contracts are IRON CLAD and that they have many lawyers on staff. I guess a company that conducts business this way may require them. Homewise also insist that all their telephone conversations are recorded. So I will assume that if you are giving them confidential information such as information to run a credit file you are exposing your information to many. 

Their service is quick and precise. That way by the time YOU realize the scam, It's a done deal. 

In mid-August, I got an unsolicited from Homewise Improvement Solutions. They said that they would be able to help me lower my energy bill and wanted to set up a time that we could talk about the particulars. They came out to my house on the 19th of August to tell me about the benefits of their system. I was impressed with what they had to say, so I decided to go ahead with the purchase and signed the contract. 

The salesman called me that night to let me know that his crew would be coming the next morning to install the panel. I told him that I wanted to be there during the installation. I asked to come between 3:20 and 3:30; that's when I got off work. However, they came that morning. My underage daughter let them in because she didn't know better. When I came home, the installation was already completed except for a few minor things. 

I immediately noticed that the installation was done incorrectly. I asked them why they had put the panel on the wrong side of the house, and he said that his boss had told him to do it. Immediately, I called his boss, Chuck, to let him know that I was dissatisfied and I wanted them to take everything down. He said they couldn't do that and asked me not to call the company directly; he promised to handle everything. He also promised to come out within the hour, but he never showed up. 

Subsequently, I talked to owner numerous times after Chuck was a no-show. The owner offered me $500 and another 10-year warranty if I called the finance company to approve the transaction. 

Meanwhile, I didn't hear back from Chuck until the 31st. He said that I was messing up his commission and that I should accept the $500 and 10 year warranty. I told him no because an inspector had never come out to approve the permit and I felt uncomfortable moving forward. 

I had someone inspect the work and he said that they had used the wrong kind of tank. He explained that in cold weather, the tank would freeze up. Further, the tank didn't even fit in my water closet. The door wouldn't close. Chuck said that I should hire a carpenter to resolve the issue. When spending over $17000, I would think that kind of service would be included. 

I'm not satisfied, especially since they started before I gave them authorization to begin. We had verbally agreed to wait for me to get there before they started the work.
