Work was as promised. Had talked to Scott previous to the visit concerning a home inspection that we had done that stated panel needed upgrade. He explained may not be necessary due to the type of wiring we have and the age of the house. Michael came to do the work and was courteous and efficient. He addressed all our needs and inspected everything, determined we did not need a panel upgrade and assisted the A/C company that was also at the house to look at equipment with the wiring on one of our compressors. Overall I believe this to be an honest, reliable and professional company and will use them again and will definitely refer them to others.

This was one of the best experiences I have had dealing with someone coming in to fix a problem. Scott who set up the service call was extremely professional and had someone at my house within an hour after I first called. Mike who performed the service was a true pro. Not only did he fix my initial concerns he also repaired an electrical situation in my garage that I have been dealing with for years. Other electricians have tried, but only Mike took the time to troubleshoot the problem and  come up with the solution. Everything works like a charm. I definitely will call Carrolls Electric if I ever need any electrical work done in the future. If anyone is looking for professionals who respond quickly to your needs, know what they are doing, and are priced fairly, these are your guys.

Daniel was great.  It was raining fairly heavy the day he was going to come out and I really expected a call asking that we reschedule.  Instead Daniel showed up on time and started on the work that he could do.  When the rain stopped he did the exterior work.  He took the time to adjust the exterior security lights and made sure they were working properly.  He also showed me how to program the timer.  The existing ceiling fan outlet was in a bad position on a vaulted ceiling however he was able to find a work around that was fine with us.

Daniel checked over the whole house and was kind enough to explain how lightning strikes travel and cause the damage.  He was able to fix the wire to our pool pump and figure out why our sprinkler system wasn't working (GFI switch in the garage that was behind some shelves had been tripped - we had totally forgotten it was there).

He called to let me know that he was coming and arrived on time.  Was finished with the job in a quick amount of time and very professional.  I had never used this company but would use them again.

Very impressed! I called Scott in the morning and Greg arrived same day at 3pm. Took a look, suggested a good option with my project and the work was top notch. Gave some good tips along the way. The price was also very reasonable. Highly recommend this company and will use them again in future!
P.S. I called a few other companies on Angies - some wanted to send technicians first for a free estimate, some never called me back. Scott was the only person who gave me a ballpark estimate on phone and asked the right questions.

We were referred to Carroll's by Tri-City Electric.  I spoke to Scott on Monday 7/7 and discussed needs at my daughter's house concerning bulbs constantly blowing out in the bathrooms and outdoor fixtures.  He agreed that they could evaluate the situation and repair if possible.  We set us an appointment for either 7/10 or 7/11 as they were available because I work very near by and could leave work to meet them when they had an opening.  On Thursday 7/10 in the am Scott called me and advised that Greg was on a job in a nearby town and would be available to meet me some time after 12:30 pm but that he would call me when Greg was on his way.  Scott called around 1pm that Greg was going to meet me and when I got there Greg had arrived.  We had a brief discussion about the situation and Greg got right to work.  He assessed each issue and replaced switches and outlets which took care of all the issues my daughter was experiencing.  Greg was efficient and professional got done in just over an hour.  I would highly recommend them to others and plan to use them in the very near future to have other work done.

All went fine.  He arrived on time, and after accessing the problem, got right to work. He checked his completed work and was satisfied  when he was unable to trip the circuit breakers.  He check to make sure that we were satisfied.  After cleaning up. he was on his way.
He was very knowledgeable and professional .  I would definitely use this company again.  In fact, this is my second time using them.

Called and got owner (Scott), told him I had some electrical work I would like done in two days and he scheduled one of his electricians to come out at my convenience.
His electrician arrived close to discussed time was very professional and courteous. He  was at my home for over three hours and he worked very hard, was neat and very knowledgeable. He went out of his way to please me and make sure I was happy with the job.  Would use them again and recommend to my friends.

Since our dimmer had sparked and started burning, the owner tried to get someone out here the same day I called which I thought was admirable.  First thing the next morning the tech arrived and put both my husband and me at ease that he could resolve our issues.  The tech was very friendly and suggested we lower the wattage in the 12 vanity lights in our master bath.  We have done so and now the dimmer should support the wattage.

Scott came out and checked that circuit for over and hour and could not find a problem.  He told me that arc fault breakers are a relatively new technology that is extremely sensitive and that switch contacts and motors can produce small sparks in normal operation that can sometimes trip a sensitive breaker. He assured me that there was no safety concern and suggested that I continue to monitor the problem to see if it gets more frequent before taking additional action.
I have used Carroll's Electric in the past, and they have always done great work and given good advice.

As expected:  Quality, punctuality, professionalism, courtesy.

Everything went well. When i called to schedule work they had an early time slot (8am) available for me a couple of days out so I took that. The technician, Dan, came out and quickly was able to get the switch installed and working properly.

It's a small company and my repair guy name was Greg so when I have had them to come out I would ask for him personally to come out. I like the work that he does, he is very professional and efficient. I would use them again in the future if I ever had a electrical problem again.
