What a good experience! The technician (also part owner of the company) arrived on time, as scheduled and was fully prepared to track down the cause of our leak. This man spent the better part of 7 HOURS going over every inch of the pool! He was meticulous in his methods and absolutely thorough in his investigation, both in and around the pool and related equipment. After the leak was detected, he took the time to explain the nature of the fault and the best course of action in order to remedy the problem. In addition, he pointed out some minor related hardware issues at the pump that warranted our future attention. It was a pleasure to monitor someone with such a complete understanding of pool systems, a commitment to service and utter attention to detail. A-advanced has made a customer for life...we couldn't be more satisfied.

This company was recommended by my pool maintenance company. I called to schedule the appointment. They couldn't come out for another week because they were so busy. And if we didn't take the appointment available the day of our vacation, it was going to be another week. So, scheduling was a problem
The guy arrived on time, did his job, jumped into the pool with his wet suit, etc. Then, one hour later he knocks on the door and gives me a bill. The bill was for $405. I was told by my pool maintenance guy this company would be around $250-300, depending on how long it took. I asked the guy about why it was so high, and he explained to me that the pricing was based on and quot;features.and quot; So, even though he wasn't in the pool for very long, I had to pay an additional $150 just because I had a water fall and a hot tub. It didn't matter that the repair was simply a cracked light hole (which he just plastered, he did not replace). I'm sure it will start leaking again soon, as it was not replaced. The total time he was at my house was 9:05-10:15, so just over an hour, including our discussions and unloading his equipment. Be prepared, because if your pool has six features, even if they take fifteen minutes, you will get charged in the neighborhood of $600.
I called and quot;Stephanieand quot; to complain about the price and her only response was and quot;you should have asked.and quot; I responded you should have told me.
I realize it is not cheap to fix a leaky pool, but I only pay my attorneys $290 an hour. $405 to fix a cracked in my light socket is highway robbery, no matter how you put it. If you want to get ripped off, give these guys a call.

Response from Aadvanced Leak Detection Inc
"I shudder at the abusive review submitted by the customer—we’ve worked so hard to earn our great reputation only to be misrepresented this way. It looks as if the customer, an owner of several investment properties, is denigrating our name over a failed bullying attempt to lower a bill. The truths, which he did not disclose, are that: 1) He was a previous customer (2 times at a different property—see below) and was already familiar with the scope of work and pricing--our pricing has not significantly changed in the interim. Furthermore, our pricing is in line with our competition’s. 2) His system had substantially more features (including multiple fountains) to examine than his previous system and, thus, cost more to inspect. 3) He hired us to, first, find the leak, and then repair it. Had he already known the leak location, his bill would have reflected the much lower repair price. The hard part, almost always, is finding the leak/s. 4) We performed a proprietary, permanent, underwater repair of his cracked plastic light niche (inside where the light fixture is housed) using our own acrylic formulation. Acrylic does not break down, ever, in the pool environment. Even better, it chemically “melts” into the plastic light niche material creating a superior bond (preventing further cracking) compared to the normal, short-term epoxy repairs performed by other pool companies. Few companies are very familiar with acrylic let alone using it extensively underwater. 5) Replacing a cracked plastic light niche, as intimated/desired by the customer, runs between $1,100-$1,600 and requires draining the pool and major renovation of the pool shell and adjacent pool deck—by no means a desirable option. We have posted the customer's billing history, including invoices/payments, at [hyperlink removed] to help substantiate our position. We work very, very hard to be the best in our field and feel betrayed by such a malicious portrayal of our work. Thank you for reading this through and forming your own opinion. Respectfully, Marc Bednarzik Founder Aadvanced Leak Detection Inc"

They did a superb job. They were diligent in their searching efforts and able to repair the leak within a week.
