We are a locally owned and operated company serving Southeast Hillsborough County with over 25 years of experience in the heating, ventilation and air conditioning industry. We offer sales, service, installations as well as solutions. We specialize in residential air conditioning and heating. Being an owner operated company without the overhead expenses of larger corporations we are able to be very competitive and pass along great savings to our customers. We pride ourselves in using only quality products. We also pride ourselves in customer satisfaction and provide responsive, competent and reliable service.

Dale and his team are first rate! Not only in their knowledge and service but in their ethical and principled approach to their work. I could not have been more pleased with my service call from 3D Air Services and I would highly and enthusiastically recommend them to anyone in need of heating and cooling services. We called 3D air to perform the annual maintenance on our two HVAC systems. While performing the maintenance, the owner, Dale, found a leak in one of the evaporator coils that was causing the system to underperform. Based on the age of the unit (less than 3 years old), Dale was abe to get the coil materials covered under the prorated manufacturer warranty. There was a small and quot;warranty feeand quot;. Dale called later that night to let us know that he had a cancellation, and would be able to install the replacement coil the very next day. Dale called prior to his arrival the next morning, to let us know he was on the way. Within a couple of hours, Dale had the coil replaced, and the system up and running normally again. This was our second experience with 3D air, and during both, Dale was prompt, professional and courteous. We would definately recommend his services.

I had changed the capacitor for the other unit before and it was $160 but 3D's first quote was for $350. When I told him that I wanted to go with someone else he said he was going to charge me $125 for the visit. So, we negotiated for $250 but I feel he took advantage of me. I picked him because he was the closest one; literally in my sub-division and he wanted to charge me for a travel charge which is how he got the price up to a $350. It took him 15 minutes to do the job. The work was fine.

"This post is absolutely not true. The original price for his repair was $235 which included materials and labor and a $15 travel charge, along with a one year replacement warranty on the capacitor to be replaced. This is when he had told me that he had previously had one replaced for $160 and did not want repair. At this time I was going to write an invoice for $89 for a service call which includes diagnostic and travel. The consumer explained he was upset about having to pay for the service call and still not have his system repaired.I offered to do the job for $175. I was just trying to make the best of the situation at hand. I also cleared his drain lines and checked both his systems performance and refrigerant levels at no additional charge. I am not the cheapest in the industry nor am I the most expensive. I never take advantage of anyone. I rely on satisfied customers' word of mouth referrals. I felt I did all I could to make the best of the situation."

Updated Review: After being extremely satisfied with 3D Air (see below), they will not service the unit they installed, telling me they no longer service my area -- which is not that far from the company's base in Brandon. When I called another a/c company (not the one 3D Air referred me to, but a friend's recommendation that is highly rated on Angie's List), they knew which company I was talking about with me saying it because they get so many calls from people who say 3D Air will not service the units they install. I previously had rated 3D with all A's, but now am forced to amend my recommendation. It's too bad, my family really liked Dale and we're extremely disappointed by this. (updated 9/21/2012)
Original Review: 3D Air is an awesome small family business. Dale (the owner) first helped us fix problems caused by a dishonest a/c company that abandoned us halfway through the fix. He then helped us keep the unit alive for about year. When the system failed, he installed a new one. ($4600 for the new unit installation.) Dale is honest, timely, offered fair prices and gave us options rather than trying to sell us on the most expensive. Have recommended him to a family member and a friend who have also used him, and they too had very good experiences with him. (12/10/2010)

They did a wonderful job and have come back three or four times. My 90 year old mother was here when the air conditioner went out and the owner came out the same day to fix it. I will use them again in the future.

They are excellent. He does good work. He is a very nice person. He goes out of his way to service my properties as quickly as possible. I barely ever have to wait until the next day for him to service something. He always does a good job. His prices are always reasonable.

Went fine. First the background: I had just moved into a house that had undergone extensive remodeling. The temp was in the 90s. 3D Air was called on an "emergency" status and therefore gave me a tentative time and kept updating that time as prior jobsarrived at the stated time and performed the after dark and stated that he other calls to make before going home. The second appointment was equally fine. 3D Air arrived at the stated time and made the repairs and the cost was according to quoted price even though extra work was required. He wore the "shoe booties" when inside the house. As previously stated, I chose 3D Air on an "emergency" basis and invited them back on an "appointment" basis a second time.

I own lots of rental properties so I use him all the time for A/C repairs. He is excellent. He is a young guy, he has started his own business and he has worked for me for about 7 or 8 years now. He services all of my properties for the air conditioning. He is very responsive and if he does not answer my phone call he will get back to me within a few minutes. His prices are always very reasonable. He is just very timely in getting in contact with my tenant and getting over there. Even if I call him at 5 o'clock at night, if it is possible, he will stop what he is doing and run over to provide service to my house. I think he is always above and beyond than what any other person would do. I would absolutely continue to use him in future.
