Gene was a very nice man. Came right Our when I called him and fixed it that day!

Manually tested the system, found a few parts bad, had them in his mobile workshop, fixed and tested again, adjusting each head that needed to be. As a Realtor, this company will be on my referral list!

Very honest and knows his stuff.

Fine, Jeff showed up on time and checked out the control box. CDD had shut down water due to drought. He recommended to recheck when possible and have Hotwire crew repair if still leaking.. No charge for visit and very positive advise. Would use if other repairs are required.

He did a great job and really takes pride in his work.

I called Gene Campbell (The Sprinkler Man) on Monday and service was performed the next day.  He was punctual and professional.. The system is working great.  I will definitely call him whenever I need service again and would recommend him to others who need sprinkler system maintenance..

We use Gene the Sprinkler Man both at our home and at our condominium office complex. He seems capable of working on any type of sprinker system. He has installed them from scratch and maintained existing systems for us over a period of about twenty years. He uses high-quality components, which we find to actually be cheaper in the long run. He understands how to provide excellent coverage with the least waste of water. We also find that he actually shows up when he says he will - which is becoming a lost art! He has repaired and installed submersible pumps and is willing to fix things rather than just replacing them.

From start to finish, Gene resolved all sprinkler problems quickly and with kindness. I highly recommend his services.

Gene The Sprinkler Man is a one man operation who takes great pride in his business. He has an extensive background and is very knowledgeable about multiple sprinkler systems. He was extremely responsive and returned my call within a few hours. He followed through with the appointment we set, even going so far as to confirm his arrival on the day of the appointment. He was running a little late because of a prior job that took longer than expected but he called to advise me and to give me the option of changing the appointment if the delay was going to be inconvenient to me. I was staying home that day anyway so did not have a problem waiting. I appreciated his courtesy and professionalism in not running off another job early and to notify me of his schedule and anticipated time of arrival.

When Gene arrived we walked the property together and I advised him that I didn't know a lot about my system. Gene was patient and went over all aspects of my irrigation system with me, showing me how to do little things like change out sprinkler heads and adjust flow so that I could handle small adjustments on my own without having to spend money. I very much appreciated his patience and willingness to teach me. Clearly this is a business that does not rip off its customers but rather helps them help themselves. I found out I had my settings wrong and in fact was wasting water because I didn't understand how many zones I had. Gene made the changes to the ideal setting and showed me what he did and explained why he did it. Then we set off the system one zone at a time and Gene walked around doing a full inspection on each head and making any adjustments as needed to insure my lawn was receiving the proper amount of irrigation without wasting water by over watering. Gene found one sprinkler head broken and had the appropriate part on his truck so was able to change it out for me very quickly. He explained the pros and cons of each type of sprinkler head for my system and advised that it was not necessary to upgrade to the latest most expensive sprinkler head as the lower price model would more than meet my needs.

Gene even went so far as to give me the model number for replacement sprinkler heads and advised where I could buy them so that when they went on sale, I could always pick up a few heads to have on hand and have the ability to replace them myself or call him and then only have to pay his flat rate service charge which would also include his reinspecting the system.

It was super reassuring to have Gene handle this job. About four years earlier I had contracted with a service provider that I found on the manufacturer's website for my system. They charged me almost $450 for the same service that Gene charged me less than $100 and I know more about my system now then I did then after spending a lot of money for the same service. Even though I now know how to check my system, you can bet that I will still contract with Gene, The Sprinkler Man to do an annual service check of my system as I would rather be safe than sorry. His fees are totally worth it and I know that he is not a con man out to rip off his customer but has integrity and great customer service. I hope The Sprinkler Man is around for as long as I live in this area and own my home. Gene gets an AAA+++ rating in my book on every level possible, hire him and I promise you will not be sorry you did.
