Stereo and Home Theater System Service
The factory sound system in my new car had Bluetooth issues whereby the phone was always answered at maximum volume, even after resetting it back to the default after every call.
Soon, the sound from the front speakers was unacceptable, yet the dealership refused to replace them (and my car is only two months old), saying the speakers were ?operating?.
So I went to the place where I had my previous vehicle?s windows tinted (because I had been VERY satisfied with the quality of the job, the life-time warranty, and the personalized service at "In Your Ear...Stereo Gear") and asked for advice.
They offered a solution that I could easily update ? cared about my budget and didn?t try to force a bunch of ?add-ons? on me.
During the install, they ran into an issue whereby the new head unit would not work with my car?s steering wheel controls as described in the installation guide. They called me right away to see if I wanted to ?go back? to the factory system. I did not, as the integrated speakers with the factory system sounded horrible to my ears, so I said I was willing to give up the volume and Bluetooth controls on the steering wheel. (As it turned out, the owner spent hours further researching and working with vendors to find out the product had not been tested with the 2015 model of car I had ? and he found an engineer who worked with him over the phone to troubleshoot, test, and document the correct wiring for publication on internet.)
The shop gave a courtesy call when the car was ready. They completely cleaned up after the job. And amazingly, the steering controls were WORKING! And of course, the best part: the new sound?well, it practically sounds like a concert!
Frankly, I am still completely blown away by the quality of the advice, their caring about what you need, them ?going the extra mile? and not giving up when something seemed incompatible, and their just doing an all-around expert job. I would not hesitate a second to recommend ?In Your Ear...Stereo Gear? to anyone for custom work or tint.
