They fixed my A/C unit a couple years ago when another company first screwed everything up then tried to con me into two different false repairs for triple the cost D&D did it for. I was having issues again and called them and they were on time, called to confirm and let me know when they were on the way, gave great suggestions for future and even cleaned out the system to help it last a couple more years. I would recommend them over any other company and I've used at least 4 throughout living here almost 25 years.

It had apparently run out of it's warranty. I don't understand the issue as to why it was not covered under warranty. They wanted to sell me a servicing package as well. I should not have paid for anything, I don't believe. Since then, it appears that it's operating and working fine. Some of the rooms are still not cooling as they could. I think I am under obligation to use them as long as it's still covered.

We've had a lot of problems. I wouldn't use them if I didn't have to. The unit itself, either was not installed properly or is not the right unit for the size of my home. Within the first year, we've had to replace the compressor, had to have the coils cleaned, the coils were rusted, as well as leaking because it wasn't installed properly. We were actually considering getting a new air conditioner.

After getting a quote and delays from a competitor, we called D&D to see if they can come out. Within three hours, their technician was on site and had the older unit repaired in less than five minutes. They were upfront about costs and stepped us through the whole process.

Not only did they include the repair cost in the system replacement, but the total cost was more than $500 under their competitors replacement cost without repairs. I felt like we got an incredible value for the money, and feel that we got a great result with both the repair and replacement.

My husband actually dealt with the technician, Sonny, and he was very impressed.  The company was recommended by my brother, and when I called to schedule the maintenance the woman who helped me was very friendly, informative, and really made me feel that I they would do a great job.  She even called back to get my brother's address to send him a Publix gift card for recommending them.  The technician came out on time, and called first, which was very nice.  He went over the whole system, found several things wrong and fixed them, and pointed out some things that were not emergent, but should probably be corrected in the future.  He also hooked up a time delay in the thermostat that was there all along but never activated.  I will definitely use D&D again for annual maintenance as well as for any needed repairs.

They are outstanding. I have a town home and my air conditioner unit is on the second floor. It has a tendency to get water in it. It is water logged. So, when they came out, they had to make some adjustments to the unit, but apparently, they did not do it correct the first time. So when I called them and had them come out the second time, they apologized profusely and did not want to charge for the service. They show up on time. Typically, what they do is they give you a four-hour window for the technician to show up. I usually found them to arrive probably within an hour. So instead of waiting four hours, they show up within an hour. The second time, the guy was here within thirty minutes. They are very prompt and professional. I was having problems with my sliding glass door and the second guy that came out here fixed it for me. They are a really good company.

They are crooks, they should be in jail. They gave me an air conditioner few years back and it was totally not fit for my needs. They lied to me about it and I'm supposed to have a warranty for parts and labor for 12 years, and instead of paying the money to the company for the labor and parts, they decided they were gonna keep the money and do it themselves. They lied to me.

3 year old townhome inwhich Dand D originally installed New Rudd system 3 years ago.. A/C System was not cooling and iced up. This system has less than 100 days of usage since this is a vacation home. Dand D came out same day and thawed system and added 1 lb of freon to get system cooling again. There technician Robert said I must have a very slow leak and performed a leak test for an additional $64 fee. Robert performed the leak test and reported the 3 year old Ruud Evaporator Coil was leaking and I need to pay an additional $550 labor to change the warranty part. I tried to schedule the permanant repair for 5 weeks later but Dand D couldn't get the warranty part in time. I then scheduled the repair with another vendor Sunset A/C who was able to perform the work in the 5 week time frame. When the Sunset came out I asked that they first verify the leak. They used a leak tool all around in the attic especialy in the back of the Evaporator Coil where Dand D claimed the leak existed and found no leak. Sunset then checked outside at the condensor coil and found a leak at the suction king valve cap. I asked the Sunset Technician if he thought I still needed the Evaporator coil and he said not in his opinion. I called Dand D right away to try to get there guys out to show where the leak was on the condensor but they didn't return my call for two days. When I called a third time I learned there technicians were too busy with the Holidays and I needed to call the manager on Monday. I checked with my friends who were on site for the November Dand D service call and they told me that Dand D never checked for any leaks at the outside condenser. I called the maintenance Manager at Dand D Air Conditioning (Dave) on Monday and complained that the Dand D didn't do a complete leak detect and the real leak was outside at the King valve condensor coil cap. Since Dand D says they warranty there work I asked Dave for compensation for the 2nd service call for $190 that wouldn't have been necessary Dave at Dand D said no. I asked Dave for a refund on his leak search and again he also said no. They talk about full warranty on there work but don't back it up!! They REFUSE to STAND BEHIND there WORK.!!! Mistakes happen but there refusal to stand behind there work is the number one reason I will NEVER USE THEM AGAIN!!!!

AT FIRST, IT WAS FRUSTRATING BECAUSE THE TWO SERVICEMEN WERE UNABLE TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM. WE PAID THE FIRST TIME FOR A HOUSE CALL, BUT THE SECOND SERVICEMEN SAID THAT IT WAS UNFAIR THAT WE WOULD HAVE TO PAY MORE IF THEY HAD NOT SOLVED THE PROBLEM. FINALLY, THE THIRD SERVICEMAN DECIDED A PART IN THE AIR CONDITIONING UNIT IN THE HOUSE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. HE SAID SOMEONE IN THE OFFICE WOULD ORDER IT, AND SOMEONE WOULD CONTACT US WHEN THEY WERE READY TO COME. I EXPECTED TO WAIT A WEEK OR SO, WHICH IS VERY COMMON IN SOUTHWEST FLORIDA, BUT THE OFFICE CALLED ONLY TWO DAYS LATER TO ASK IF I WOULD BE HOME AT 9 A.M. THE NEXT MORNING. IT WAS FIXED IN LESS THAN ONE HOUR. ALL THREE SERVICEMEN WERE PLEASANT, HELPFUL, AND RESPECTFUL. IT WAS A PLEASURE TO ALLOW THEM TO WORK IN THE HOUSE. THIS IS RARE IN SOUTHWEST FLORIDA WHERE SERVICE PEOPLE DO NOT KEEP APPOINTMENTS, DO NOT HAVE THE PARTS OR TOOLS WHEN THEY COME, AND, IN GENERAL, ARE ARROGANT AND UN-KNOWLEDGEABLE.
