After speaking with Bryan, he told me exactly how to package and mail the original tapes. I had numbered them as closely as I could in order to make my life easier after they were done.
Bryan contacted me as soon as the tapes arrived at his shop, and also emailed during the process keeping me in the loop as the job continued. Once all of our home movies were transferred onto the DVD's, he packed them up securely, insured the originals and the new DVDs and called me to let me know they were shipped and when I could expect them to arrive at my house.
We were so thrilled with the results! No more searching through tapes endlessly to find a few special moments! They were labeled just as I asked and once I received them, I was able to go through and chronicle them- which make finding tapes and moments I want that much easier. Now we just pick up a DVD and watch the one we want. Also, very important with new technology~ our video camera no longer works, so without a special player ( which I don't even know if they still make them) we wouldn't be able to view them without having Bryan do what he did.
