The compressor was replaced with a new one and worked well for a few days but then started giving problems again. The compressor did not have the appearance of being new. It appeared worn and used.

Perfect. Service person was clean, professional, knowledgeable and courteous. He put on cloth booties whenever he entered the house. We are very pleased with Suter Air and will continue using them for our A/C and heating needs. The service call was the first of two. The second service will be in Oct 2017. The cost of service listed below includes the second service call.

They didn't install the duct work as they were suppose to. After they installed the system, I had nothing but problems and heart aches with it. I had 10 service calls on it from 2006-2010. I ended up having to get another company to replace the air handler. It was a Lennox system and it just wasn't any good. They didn't know what they were servicing. They are a Carrier dealer, and they didn't know what they were dealing with my Lennox system. It was a zone system and it must have been too much computerization for them. I wouldn't go back to Suter for lower money.

I have a service contract with them and they come in twice a year. I pay on an annual basis. I think they are great. They are reliable. When you call they come the same day for service. I had to call them back after a service call. They had to resolve the problem and they just charged me for parts, they did not charge me for the labor so they gave me a break there. I have been using them for about two years.

Quick as a phone call. Services on agreed schedule. Price is fair and reasonable. Installed a new unit a year ago at a good price after keeping the old one limping along for a couple years more than one would have thought possible.

I had signed up with Suter just a little over a year ago for semi-annual maintenance contract that they performed in a satisfactory manner to date. Today around 1PM after returning from a morning appointment we discovered that we weren't getting any cooling. I immediately contacted Suter and within 30 minutes a serviceman was here and 15 to 20 minutes later all was working. A capacitor had gone bad and was replaced at a reasonable price. I had expected to wait around all day waiting for service.
I couldn't have imagined service like this. I realize that I was probably a little lucky that things fell into place so well but in any case "my hat is off to the Chef" and thanks Suter for such excellent service.

He showed up perfectly on time as he said he would and found the source of the problem. He also cleaned the unit and explained how to do some small maintenance that we could take care of on our own in the future. This is an older AC unit so we were very surprised that he didn't just tell us to buy a new one. He told us the unit (when it was new) was a very nice one and did not pressure us to try to sell us a new one. We know the unit is not going to last forever, but we will buy from Suter when the time comes. He gave us some range estimates of what we can expect when it comes time to purchase.

They were very good. They got everything perfect except they left the water running so I had an extra $50.00 bill on my water bill but they paid it. Their pricing was good. They did a good job and did it quickly too. They were here exactly when they said they were going to be here. When I had a little problem with the water they owned up to it right away. They are very honest and very good to work with. I got a good warranty as well. I have used them before through Angie's List and that is how I got to know their name to be start with. Their price was less than a couple of others that I had got. They did a great job.

They were really good and nice. They found a lot of things not hooked up on our A/C and fixed it for us. They showed me a lot of things I didn't know how to do. The tubing inside the A/C was not connected and they took care of that.

David, the great technician that showed up on a SUNDAY, was friendly, in good humor, forthcoming with information, fast and efficient, and knowledgeable.
My husband was impressed with how quickly David assessed the problem, explained everything to him, and changed it out fast. David didn't seem to mind my husband standing with him as he worked, and welcomed the questions he asked.
Originally calling several other companies, I got no answer, or was asked to wait forever in hopes of a call back.
David got back to us within 15 minutes of leaving a message with a live operator, on a Sunday, and was in a neighboring town finishing up a job.
He explained what the charge would be, and said he had about 80% or the parts on the truck, but, you never knew what it would need until you saw the unit and found the problem. He then waited for me to tell him what I wanted to do, and said at least you would know what was wrong, and he could get right back on the next day, a Monday.
I know getting a compressor, which amounts to a new air handler on a Sunday IS a hard thing to do and you don't carry one around in your truck, of course.
I said come ahead, and hoped it would not be a complete unit replacement. He could have told me we needed that, and I would not have known the difference, but, instead, as I said before, pointed out the problem, and told us what to expect in the future, and given how the unit was installed many, many years ago, how we could save with what might need replacing in the future.
We were very happy with his honesty and so happy we called this company, and because of the efficient way the problem was handled, we had half of our Sunday left to enjoy..... after all, it was our date weekend, so very important to us!!!!

Ours was an emergency call. We called several companies because our air conditioner was not working. They not only responded the fastest but they were also the most reasonable. It was an after hours call and they jumped through hoops to get the right part for our unit in order to get it working again. They apparently don't have so much work that they can ignore me. They were really prompt about calling back and coming out. They were great and really outstanding so I will use them again in the future.
