Furniture - Sales
On delivery day, the drivers arrived late after dark. Carried in the furniture...breaking the two doors on them. They said to call the showroom/customer service and someone would be out to fix it. I told them its new furniture. I do not want repaired furniture. I want new. The delivery folks said the company would take care of it. After further inspection, two large cracks in the top and bottom portion were also documented. I immediately called the showroom manager. Of course, now they don't want to talk to me. Said to call the 1-800 customer service number. That 1-800 number, BTW wouldn't pick up earlier in the day to confirm the delivery window. I will never EVER purchase from Rooms to Go again.
Update: After 4 deliveries (1 per week for 4 weeks) from Rooms to Go, they still didn't bring us an undamaged item. Honestly, how hard is it to visually check an item before its delivered. The last delivery had two cracks (3 inch/1 inch) on the inside. The outside looks okay, so we accepted it with a 20% off discount (note: This refund takes 10 business days via mail from the main company...awesome). We just wanted the nightmare over. Never Ever again Rooms to Go.
