 + 2 morePLH took a check for the above amount for supplies for the work to begin and did not show up on the agreed on date. Calls were made to PLH to establish a start date and finally our calls were not answered. When the owner was asked by the local Sheriff's office to return the money, the owner refused.. Since the check had already been cashed, the bank could not help us. Strongly recommend that this company not be paid anything in advance of the work being completed.
Description of Work: We contracted to have sod removed, plants relocated, pavers and block wall built, and irrigation adjusted accordingly. We had an agreed on amount and later were contact by PLH to say that it wasn't enough for the job. The contract was renogiated with a new and higher amount.
