In the kitchen

Manufacturing took much longer than estimated, but the product and installation were good.

We removed the entire kitchen and started over with a clean slate. Justin Spell Designer, for Lowe's, helped me design the entire Kitchen cabinets. The main kitchen has a Hearth mantle over the range, the focal point of the Kitchen. The cabinets are Maple w/ Coffee Glaze from the Diamond collection. Justin organized all of my requests for options in the cabinet area with extra design additions. Microwave cabinet, large Lazy Susan cabinets in each corner (with tall cabinets above them with doors at the counter area for extra storage). A Tray cabinet and 2 pull out drawers next to the range for pots and pans.
The Buffet was also designed across from the main kitchen with varied cabinet heights and entertaining serving pieces. There are cabinets and drawers.
An Island was made for all of the small appliances and trash bins. All of the appliances are Stainless.

Another section in the Nook area is the Dry Bar with a Wine Cooler. Again a design made from my wish list. The finished cabinets are almost finished with the beautiful crown molding and hardware.
I also have a Pot Filler over the range, lighting under and over all cabinets and a touch faucet. I did not add any glass doors by my choice. However, all of the ends of the cabinets have a door to finish the look. Also the back side of the snack bar has a panel with 3 cabinet doors for a finished look.
I will have tile installed behind all cabinet areas. I love my kitchen.
My experience with Justin Spell at Lowes was a pleasant experience and he is the best Designed at any Big Box store that I have used in my experience.
All of the people I worked with are the Designer, Installers, Dry Wall Installers, Tile Installer, Appiliance staff, Granite Installers and everyone that worked to make this kitchen beautiful.

IT WAS GOOD. THE GUY HAD THIS WAY. HE HAD A REAL PROFESSIONAL ATTITUDE ON HIM WHEN HE CAME OUT. HE EXPLAINED STUFF ABOUT WHAT HE WAS DOING AND GAVE ME A LOT OF GOOD INFORMATION.

IT SEEMS TO BE SATISFACTORY OTHER THAN ONE THING, THE COMBINATION LOCK (THEY DIDN'T DO QUITE RIGHT). AS FAR AS I KNOW IT WAS AFFORDABLE AND A FAIR PRICE.

I WAS SATISFIED, BUT NOT OVERLY SATISFIED. THEY COULD HAVE BEEN ON TIME AND CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES. THEY DID GET THE CARPET DOWN. THERE WAS A GENTLEMAN WHO CAME AND BROUGHT HIS KID WITH HIM WHO HAD A DAY OFF FROM SCHOOL.

BASICALLY THEY DID A VERY GOOD JOB AS FAR AS THE FLOORING. SOMETIMES THERE WAS A BREAKDOWN IN COMMUNICATION. THEY WOULD NOT RETURN ALL OF OUR CALLS.

THE PRODUCT WAS WHAT IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE. THERE WERE NO MIX UPS. THEY DID NOT TELL ME ANYTHING WAS COMING IN ANY SOONER THAN IT WAS. THEY MEASURED FOR THE BLINDS ACCURATELY.

THE LAMINATE IS FINE, BUT THE INSTALLATION PROCESS HAS BEEN A NIGHTMARE, AND AFTER A MONTH IS STILL NOT DONE. THE SUBCONTRACTOR WAS LATE, DIDN'T SHOW UP, HAD NOT MEASURED OR ORDERED MATERIAL CORRECTLY. THEY WOULD NOT RESPOND TO PHONE CALLS.
