Small Aluminum Company with 8 employees. We do use sub-contractors that have worked for us for years. When a customer signs a contract with us, they would give us a downpayment then the remaining balance due after the work is completed.

Detailed in the above post. One thing I did not mention is that when they finished they just left although there are no visible issues. My two issues are I am having trouble getting them to come back out to fix the numerous leaks and I cannot get the salesman to send me a copy of the sales tax I paid. I don't believe he ever will. I will not use these guys again as I do not like headaches.
Update, August 24. One of the guys came out yesterday and caulked where the leaks were. It hasn't rained since but I imagine he got them fixed. It took just over 2 weeks to get it resolved which isn't that bad in hindsight. I never did get the tax statement from the salesman and would be shocked if I did.

Please accept Lake Square Aluminum's apology for the scraps of aluminum and the screws that were left on your driveway. Also we want to thank you for bring this to our attention so that we can make sure this does not happen again. I will be mailing you a copy of the invoice for the screen room that you contracted with Lake Square Aluminum. There is no sale tax charged to customer's that are considered Real Property. The customer pays taxes for any improvements they have done to their homes through their Real Estate Property Tax bill. My experience with them went absolutely wonderful. I could not recommend them more highly. I was discouraged at the beginning of my search. I did not get them through Angie's List. I just happen upon them through my husband's work, and they were wonderful. They will be doing another project for us next week. I liked the people that worked for them, the owner that I was in contact with, their professionalism and their quality of work. I change my mind a lot and they did not lose their cool with me. They made it happen the way I wanted it to happen. Their price came in surprisingly low. I was under budget with them. I had like $500 left which was amazing.
