WHEN THEY CAME OUT FOR THE ESTIMATE, THEY DIDN'T TAKE ANY MEASUREMENTS TO DEVELOP A COST BUT JUST A BUNCH OF BALLPARK (OFF THE CUFF COSTS). THEY QUOTED ME A COST OF OVER $29,000, AND I EXPLICITLY TOLD THEM FROM THE BEGINNING AND NUMEROUS TIMES THAT IF THE COST WAS ANYWHERE NEAR $20,000, I WOULD NOT BE INTERESTED. "We have already refunded $200 of the $600 fee. The contract, which was signed by both parties, states that no refund will be issued. We provided all items listed in the contract. He simply did not like the estimated price. Our contract was to provide an estimated cost to remodel his bathroom(s). A detailed cost estimate was provided based upon similar work we have provided others, as well as looking at his project. We have attempted to resolve this by refunding a portion of his payment."

I WAS UNABLE TO GET THE WORK DONE DUE TO AN OUT-OF-WORK SITUATION. HOWEVER, I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE ARCHITECTURAL DRAWINGS THEY HAD DRAWN UP, THE COST QUALITY OF THE VENDORS/MATERIALS THEY RECOMMENDED, AND THE GENERAL COST. I ALSO HAD CHECKED THEIR REFERENCES ON A COUPLE OF PREVIOUS JOBS THEY HAD DONE AND WAS PLEASED WITH WHAT I HEARD. THEY WERE VERY NICE PEOPLE, AND THE REFERENCES SPOKE HIGHLY OF THE WORK THEY DID AND THE SCHEDULES THEY WORKED WITHIN.
