Firstly, Mr. [Member Name Removed] thank you for your dishonest review. Now let us talk facts and not a bunch of lies and stories you are making up. Your total job cost was $17,630.00 AFTER getting several discounts and not $20,000.00. We had given you estimates for the same project on two separate occasions before you hired us to do your project. After we gave you our first estimate, you went with two other contractors to do some of the work; one to remodel your bathroom and the other to replace your electrical interior panel and update/rebuild your main electrical service. In addition to that, you even had Plumbing, AC, Fencing and General Contractors do work for you which all ended very badly based on YOUR OWN WORDS, you even went on to say that those contractors all had issues with passing inspections. Before we took your job, we thought long and hard since at least FIVE other contractors that YOU TOLD US ABOUT had major issues with you. At one point, we even wondered to ourselves if all those companies you hired are bad or if it is YOU that is the problem. Fast forward to the completion of your project with us, we then quickly realized that you were problematic all along; your main issue is that you like to hire people to do work for you, but you DO NOT LIKE TO PAY! Or maybe you just cannot afford it. Since dealing with customers over the past 25 years, you are by far the most dishonest, disrespectful, rude, childish, and unhappy person we have ever come across, still we remained very professional. Upon hiring us, everything was very transparent on our part, everything you requested was fulfilled without any resistance from us, including a permit for the job. Our contract was very detailed and specific; 50% due up front and the other 50% due upon COMPLETION of the work, which you signed to, but did not honor. At the beginning of the project, you and your wife constantly made changes and kept adding numerous things to the original scope of work. We had no issues with those changes, and even though those changes resulted in the new job cost exceeding the original invoice amount significantly, we, at no time at all, came back to you for more money to bring the deposit back up to 50%, we just kept on working and honoring the changes you wanted. You are also such a hypocrite, as during the entire job you kept on saying how pleased you and your wife were with the progress of the work and how impressed you were with the quality of the work. You and your wife even went on to say that we are the only contractor that came to your house who knows what they are doing and expressed how neat and clean the installation of the work was. We replaced old cloth wiring, switches, outlets, light fixtures, and ceiling fans inside your home, EXCEPT FOR YOUR BATHROOM AND YOUR WASHER/DRYER inside the kitchen. Those areas were already hooked up to circuit breakers inside your existing new panel, which was not installed by us. All we did where your panel is concerned was replace all the old cloth wiring with new wiring and replaced some of the regular circuit breakers with new AFCI and GFCI breakers where required by the National Electric Code and the local Municipal. You spoke of how proud Maurice acted about his work, indeed he should. Maurice is highly trained and has over 25 years of experience, he is a Master Electrician and is truly knowledgeable and good at what he does, he only does work that meets the National Electric Code requirements without any exception, so yes, he is immensely proud of the quality of work he performs. After your project was completed and it was time for you to settle the balance due, which was about 70% of the total job cost, YOU STARTED ACTING FUNNY and MAKING EXCUSES AFTER EXCUSES about how you do not know if anything we did works and if it will pass inspection. WOW, REALLY?! We are professionals. You did not have light fixtures, switches, ceiling fans and outlets in some sections of your home and we added those as you requested. We also replaced all devices elsewhere in the home, as requested (EXCEPT FOR YOUR BATHROOM), we then asked you if when you turned on your lights and ceiling fans if they worked, when you plugged things in your outlets if they worked, and you replied YES. Yet, you still went on to say you did not know if they are working. If you did not have enough money to pay your balance at the time of completion of your project all you had to do was ask for more time to pay instead of making up all those illogical excuses. We know what we are doing and we were certain and will always be certain that we will pass inspections as we are professionals, and we always complete work up to code. What if we cannot pass the inspection was what you finally concluded to be your concern? Anyone who has ever had their house re-wired knows what is involved in the process, holes in the walls, ceilings, floors, etc. We did such a clean installation inside and outside your home, even though there was no open access to your walls and very limited access to your attic to install the new wiring. We left your home with not even one hole in your walls or ceiling. We had the inspection by the City of Dania Beach Electrical Inspector, and we passed all inspections the first time around without any issues. After the inspector signed off on the permit card and left, you then asked if that is it, like you were disappointed and expected the job to fail the inspection. The work was completed in December of 2021, fast forward to February, now more than two months later (not one month as you claimed), one of your circuit breakers is doing what it is supposed to do, “trip” whenever there is an issue with a circuit or something hooked up to it. You sent us an email about the breaker that was tripping, briefly explained what was being affected, and asked what we think could be causing that. Unfortunately, because we have been so busy for the past few months with a bunch of projects, and numerous emails coming in daily we did not get to respond to your message instantly. A few days passed then you called us after regular business hours and did not get through to us. However, we called you back within 5 minutes of missing your call, you expressed how upset you were, screaming at our technician and being very disrespectful. Despite this, our technician remained professional and calm, and he tried to find the underlying. You then calmed down and explained to the technician that since recently, two to three days to be exact, WHENEVER YOU TRIED TO TURN ON ANYTHING INSIDE YOUR BATHROOM (which we did not re-wire or do any work to, work in that area was completed by another contractor over a year ago) the circuit breaker would trip. This circuit breaker also has the living room outlets and lights connected to it like it was before we replaced the cloth wiring. You were then asked if the breaker tripped whenever stuff is being used inside the living room and you said no, everything else worked fine, the breaker would only trip when you tried to turn stuff on in the bathroom. Now anyone with common sense can clearly see that this is no rocket science, there is something going on with the bathroom wiring or inside the bathroom light fixtures, switches, exhaust fan, etc. is causing the breaker to trip. You were then told that the bathroom is not covered under our warranty because we weren’t the ones who did your bathroom wiring, our technician was going to offer you free information of simple steps (no contact with any wiring or live parts) you could do to give you an idea of what is going on in your bathroom before dispatching a technician to come out and do a diagnostic, which you knew you would have to pay for since the issue was with your bathroom wiring/devices tripping the breaker and not the living room wiring that we installed. You then became very irate again, cursing at the technician, calling us just another shady contractor in South Florida and being very disrespectful saying that we did not want to own up to our work failing. How can your issue with something we did not work on be our responsibility? Do you even listen to yourself and see that you are not making any sense? You claim to the public that we will take their money and run, not own up to failing work, yet still within less than a week of your issue, you were able to get ahold of us. We have never taken money from anyone and not deliver what we agreed to. WE ALWAYS AND WILL ALWAYS GUARANTEE ALL WORK PERFORMED BY US FOR A YEAR. It does not matter what the issue is, big or small, if we did it, we GUARANTEE IT. With that said, thanks again for your dishonest review, hopefully one day you will find peace and happiness!
