I would not recommend this company at all. They are not what they say. I?m not even sure where to begin. READ EVERYTHING! I made the mistake of thinking that they were forthcoming and told me all the details and I payed severely for making that mistake. I was told that they don?t stop at weigh stations and they would be able to drop off on the date that I requested. That wasn?t the case at all. I wanted the truck to be at its final destination on September 20th, it didn?t show up until October 1st. I was not informed that anything not in a box would be boxed up and I would be charged for it. The pick up guys were late, then after an hour of discussing certain things they finally got loading. It was after 8pm when they finally were done. AGAIN, READ EVERYTHING. We had items go missing out of a locked container! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

We had the worst experience . Cost was 3 times more than estimate original estimate was around $1,700 And it ended up to be $4,700 but this was. The begging hang . Delivery was delayed from original date by 3 weeks : they lost a very expensive dining chair and we have only 5 and not 6. I can not ever find another similar chair anymore and my wife is devastated . They broke dining table extender and levels and cost me $700 To fix it They damaged a credenza All my statements are fully documented They disappeared And not responding to text, email or voice messages . Trucker is different , delivery company is different . Insurace certificate does not belong to any one of them and inflated . All lies . They claimed they are part of Cheney Brothers. It is lie : they are Cheney brothers loving . Is a one man show . The rest are all Brokers . no advance payment Mover by cash or Zelle: pay only with credit card . So you have some protection . These are liars and irresponsible

We?ve moved cross country over a dozen times. This was the worst ever. Communication was non-existent. Customer service/customer care are foreign concepts to these people, not one promised pickup time or delivery window was met, two articles - a dresser and bookcase were damaged beyond repair. Don?t waste you money on these people.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! Just like some of the other reviews said, they tell you one price and say â  Thats the final price, you wont pay moreâ ¦.â  . They forget to tell you that it costs extra for carrying anything over 75â  , make sure your inventory list is accurate, because they charge extra and you wont find out until the end. They didnt follow the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) by giving me a new binding estimate before they loaded all of my stuff. After they have your business, they dont return phone calls or texts. They are def good sales people. Cheney Brothers Moving is a rip off!!! BEWARE!!! Do your research!!! Their website is all stock photos too.

This company is a fraud. As supported by several of the genuine reviews on Google, as well as numerous reviews on "Buttermove". In addition to deceiving practices, they provided a lowball estimate, then demanded an additional $1,200 after they loaded the truck (3 days later than promised), and threatened to unload our belongings in the parking lot if we didn't pay. After my son posted a negative review, they threatened to withhold our belongings if we didn't take it down, then posted our names and addresses in their response, as well as insulting and libelous statements about our family. Avoid this company at all costs.

The experience was very contrary to my previous moves. I have done with local moving companies. All the men were knowledgeable and on time; also I would like to mention the cost was a lot less than expected. Moving forward all my friends and family will be using Cheney bros! Thanks guys.

I had a great experience with them. I will use them again.
