Charles patched two large holes in my bathroom wall and did a superior job. I found him to be honest and professional. He returned phone calls and was timely in showing up for appointments. He is very reasonably priced. I have other jobs around the house that I plan to hire him again for.

I will say Charles is punctual but not easy to get a hold of. In reading previous reviews I feel I didn’t get the same handyman everyone raves about. He removed the vanity and mirror with little to no issues and patched the hole in the wall but honestly the patch work was not good quality. We paid him $120 half the cost we were quoted since he did do half the work at that point. Once I finally got a hold of him again he came back 9am Thursday morning and was punctual but not 5 minutes into the job my son and father hear a loud crash. Charles had broken the vanity porcelain sink which had been special ordered and shipped to my home. I cannot understand for the life of me how it happened but I didn’t get any apology or offer to even try to replace it or go purchase me a new one. Charles actually had the nerve to just say well when you get another one call me I’ll come back to install it and he just left. I’m not sure if he’s on drugs, drinks to much or is just going through a health issue tbut this man has NO CLUE at ALL of the **** he’s now caused plus I now have to wait till July for a replacement sink to be delivered and not to mention the additional cost I’m out because he broke it!! ANGRY doesn’t even explain my emotions at his lack of concern for what he’s done. COMPLETELY UN PROFESSIONAL!!! I would NEVER hire this man EVER for any job!

"Went to remove vanity and mirror, couldn't do it because water shut off valves would not budge. Lost a days work. Plumber replaced valves she called me to remove vanity and mirror. She was not there, her elderly father, conducting Jewish religious services was there. She never showed up. She called me to install new vanity saying she would be there, she was not there. Her elderly father, conducting religious services was there. New vanity was in bathroom with porcelain sink on top. I took the porcelain sink off and gently sat it down on floor in hallway outside bathroom. Walked back into the bathroom. A minute later I heard a noise, walked back into the hall and both sides of the sink were broken. The sink was fine when I sat it there. Could be sink had hairline fracture that occurred in shipping. The elderly man called his daughter Ms. [Member Name Removed], she came right away. I apologized several times. She said she was going to home depot to find another sink. A young teenager showed her on a laptop sinks that would fit the vanity. Price range around 100.00. We went outside, I apologized, offered to help in any way, she says nothing and walks in the house closing door. I left, she never calls but within an hour I get this review on my business. She never paid me anything. I lost two days work. I do not know how or why her sink broke after I sat it in the hallway. I apologized several times. Things happen beyond our control, things break. Some things you buy are defective. I am professional and well liked by many customers, I have plenty of reviews that indicate the opposite of this review. I am professional, honest, courteous, and fair. Sometimes you have bad days, sometimes everything seems to go wrong, and sometimes no matter what you do, you can't fix it. If you are looking for a perfect handyman, keep looking. Thank You."

Excellent Mr. Smith arrived on time to work Lights were installed first day. The shed doors were in bad shape. Mr Smith took them off (very heavy) He took them home to fix. When he brought them back, he had remade the exactly as the originals, only with better material. Very impressed, high quality work. Installing the exterior door to the garage took a little longer to fit due to sloppy job original contractors had done. A quick run to Lowe's and it was installed. My wife and I were very impressed with proffesional attitude, completing all work in time he had quoted. Definitely will use his services again.

Mr. Smith did not know what he was doing. Although he was pleasant, if it wasn't for my neighbor, the project would not have been done. In addition he left me to finish the job myself. and he charged me for the time he spent eating the lunch I fed him. A lot of time was wasted because he didn't know what he was doing and he was learning on my dime.

"When I arrived at Mrs. Johnsons she told me to sit at the table and asked if I would like a bowl of soup. She also had a bowl of soup. I spent 10 minutes eating the bowl of soup while we put together clamps that went to the dome she wanted to place over her above ground pool. The project required 3 people to put up the dome which is why she had her neighbor assist. Assembling the parts was very simple, however; putting up the dome with 3 people (myself, Mrs. [Member Name Removed], and her neighbor) was a challenge. We spent 5 hours finally getting all the poles up and then her neighbor took one of the poles off and it all fell down. Then it started raining. I came back Monday and we spent another 5 hours putting up the dome and it was not because we did not know what we were doing or that I didn't know what I was doing, Putting it together was simple- attaching it to the pool was challenging for all 3 of us. The reason it was a challenge is because the dome was not made for her particular pool. We were unable to tighten clamps onto the pool because the clamps were too big for her pool and the spacing of the poles did not match her particular pool. Once we got the vinyl cover over the dome we had to tie it down. Myself and Mrs. [Member Name Removed] worked together tying it down about 70% of the way. I had to leave to another appointment. I offered to come back and finish tying it down and she insisted that she could do the rest. The pool dome was so poorly manufactured we had to tape all of the poles together with duct tape. I only charged her 150.00 for 10 hours of my time because I felt bad for her and she was a nice lady. I knew exactly what I was doing, I was very professional, and I worked very hard helping Mrs. [Member Name Removed] attach the poorly manufactured dome to her above ground pool. I am saddened by Mrs. [Member Name Removed]'s review and especially giving me bad marks for spending 10 minutes eating a bowl of soup which she offered me when I first arrived. The completion date was Monday 9/16/2019 and not 9/22/2019."

What a great guy! He also gave us a great price because he finished earlier than he quoted. We have a screen room and all of the screening needed replacement. Our HOA actually required we get it done. Charles is so polite and personable. We even fed him! We will use him again to replace some flooring in our bathroom. Glad he is so close to our home. Awesome experience, honestly! I highly recommend him!

I paid $250 for the day. He did a good job with the Sheetrock and then asked if I had any other problems around the house. So he fixed my leaky sink, the closet door that didn’t close and he hung the hardware for my blinds. He can do a lot of things. All for $250. I had an electrician that quoted me $3600 for a one-day job.

After being stood up by another “handyman”, I found Charles thru an online search and contacted him to see if he would be interested in tackling my project of switching out the glass window inserts in my French doors. The job entailed removing the old window inserts that had the grids and replacing with new clear glass window inserts. I previously purchased the new windows and just need help with installation. Charles asked me to email him some pictures so he could get a better understanding of the project. He contacted me later on that day to set up a time to come later in the week and gave me a ballpark estimate of cost to install. On the day of scheduled install, Charles arrived on time and completed the install. His services were reasonably priced and I would recommend him to anyone that needs handyman services. In fact, I hired him again when I decided to replace the windows on a second set of French doors in my house.
