Very professional and friendly. He is a top notch and we will use his company again.
highly recommend him to anyone!
We are at the beginning of a pool and deck remodeling project. Our 30 year old cement deck beside the pool had been lifted 1 1/2 inches by tree roots growing under the deck. Another cement sub-contractor had been hired to tear out the old cement from that part of the deck, remove the problem roots and then pour new cement to form a new deck. They did more head scratching than working. You see the area with the root problem was a narrow swatch between the screen cage and the shallow end of the pool so it was hard to maneuver large stump grinding type machinery in there. We gave them permission to remove the screening and some of the cross pieces of the cage but they still could not get deep enough to remove the roots to lay a 12 inch footer for us after a week of trying. That is when our main contractor contacted Bobby Weddle owner of Tri County Tree and Bobcat Service and asked if he would give it a try. Bobby came over that very evening at 6 PM after finishing the job that he had scheduled for that day and he began working immediately. He had a very positive, can do type attitude and worked well into the night with his huge machinery. This man saw obstacles as challenges and he was proud of overcoming them. In fact, he asked us to take a picture of how he overcame the problem of working his machine controls when there was no room for him to stand next to his machine on the narrow strip of ground. As you can see in the picture, he stood a step ladder in our drained pool and worked the huge stump grinder controls by standing on the step ladder. He did an excellent job and we would highly recommend him. His business card says his company does tree removal as well as bobcat work.
When we met for the first time on the work site I instantly felt comfortable seeing him in action. Quick, efficient, skilled in everything he was doing! I was very impressed!
Today he completed the job and I felt as if my blood pressure dropped 40 points! He did a great job and I am 100% satisfied!
I already asked Bobby to quote more work and I am already confident in the results!
I read online that you have to make sure anybody that does work on you house has to have insurance or thet could sue you -- so, I made sure to call and speak directly to his insurance agent and he confirmed that Bobby had insurance.
So, I hired Bobby. One morning the tree was there, in the afternoon after I came home from work -- it was gone! He took down this massive tree in just a matter of probably 4 or 5 hours -- start to finish. He also had the stump grinded the next day.
I believe the price and workmanship that I received were above average. The next lowest price was $400 more from another company. Bobby is honest and hard-working and I recommend doing business with him.
We have used another company that was a nightmare so, we have a great comparison!
I met Bobby Weddle in January at a non-profit horse barn where I volunteer, called Friendship Glen, it is were the Kiwanis Horses for Handicapped family rides and is also home of two Girl Scout troops and a 4H club. I was immediately struck by Bobby Weddles professional mannerism. I was able to see first hand his skills in tree trimming, ground clearing and hauling. This was a large area that was home to many braizian pepper trees and old pines that were hit by lightening, plus the grounds were covered with potato vines and other non-native vines. His works was very efficient and I was very impressed with his skills driving the bob cats and all his other machines that he used to get the job done. Before long the trucks were loaded, ground leveled and a replacement tree was planted.
At that time, I spoke to Mr. Weddle regarding some work that needed to be done at my home, he was able to provide me with 3+ references and a detailed brochure with his companies information and license number.
After calling his references, all of which were very pleased with his work, I met Bobby at my property and we went over the details of what needed to be done. He gave me a detailed written estimate and a time frame in which the work could be completed.
A few days later, I called Bobby and told him that he was the man that I wanted to do business with. My decision was not based just on price but on the trust and the referrals from his references. It took about 4 hours to trim my very tall and overgrown hedges and my numerous old oak trees that were getting ever so close to my neighbors fireplace. I was a little nervous with the trimming over my house but was put at ease with his ability to use his rope and pulley system to keep both himself, his staff and my home safe. Hardly a leaf was on my roof !
Overall the job was excellent and I feel very comfort with my name being added to any referrals he may need.
I am happy to report to Angie's list how pleased I am with Tri -County Tree Service and Bobby Weddle.
