SCRATCH N DENT AUTOBODY

Due to a minor parking lot crunch it was recommended that rear bumper cover be replaced and painted over plus a small dent repaired on the rear fender/door area. At first, I purchased the part from Amazon because of considerable savings (initially over $125 less expensive than what was quoted), however, they rejected it because it did not meet their standards (it had arrived in a box poorly packaged and over bent on right and left side). I was able to get a full refund from Amazon and proceed with repair (the shop charged $50 more than Amazon because it was bought uninsured). After completion ( 2 days later) I noted a significant gap and unevenness between body and new bumper cover, which looks unprofessional and only slightly better than prior to repair. Raises question whether the bumper cover was simply repaired and painted over rather than replaced (as originally agreed upon), I have no proof. I asked whether there was any damage to the bumper underneath, he answered that there was none. Paint drying process was poor with a approx. a 1/4" irregular dirt particle residue dried on to part of bumper cover paint. His son removed it with a box cutter blade right in front of me, leaving a small area of unpainted black primed plastic exposed! To make things REALLY worse, upon further inspection, the right front fender had a new fairly deep sharp gouge into the metal (about 2 inch area), which looked similar to what had been repaired about 2 yrs ago by the very same body shop? Wow! Owner's son claimed that it was there before this repair and had been painted over by some one. The owner offered to further paint over same gouge, that was the extent of it, which is inadequate and leaves it still visible. Isn't it interesting that perhaps the same old fender part found itself back on my car? This realization didn't occur to me until much later when we got home (no, I am not delusional or on any drugs) that such a thing could be pulled off. When I gave the car for repair, the lady worker specifically looked over the car in detail and did not notice such an obvious to the naked eye damage. Next time when dealing with any body shop I would recommend taking photos of the whole vehicle before submitting for repairs because of such shenanigans. Otherwise, you have no legal recourse. For future reference, I would stay clear of this body shop. This is not nit picking on my part as I was charged over $800 for this (mis) service.

Very well. They did a beautiful job, and charged less than they had quoted because they were able to paint just that section of the bumper they repaired, instead of the whole bumper.

Brian gave me a very fair estimate compared to other body shops. The job was done in the promised time frame of 5 days. Brian and his team were courteous throughout the process. The painting and body work were flawless. The car looks great, like it came out of the dealer's show room.

Bryan and sons were very nice. Work promised same day and it was. Price exactly as estimated. I am very happy with the service. Thank you.

They were extremely professional.  I spoke with a couple of other customers while I was there and they had nothing but good to say about this shop.  As I had no one to drive me there and I live quite close,  Bryan (the owner)  even drove me home and came to pick me up when the job was complete.  I felt they were really trustworthy.   They are a family run business and have been doing this work for over 30 years.  My 2001 Avalon looks "good as new".

It was a very easy and excellent transaction and job. They even brought the car to the car wash place, where they spot treated my coffee stains inside for no charge.

Our son was in a minor collision when a car ran the light and hit him on the right bumper side. We took the car to Bryan at Scratch n Dent and he gave us an estimate. When he removed the fender, he saw that the rails were bent and called us immediately. He was able to repair the rails and adhere the bumper to it. He alerted us that somehow the drivers seat air bag had been deactivated. He repaired it and gave us peace of mind that our son would be safe in the future.

Bryan (the owner) gave us a call after the car was picked up to make sure we were happy with their services. I told him that we were impressed by his estimate, the repair and attention to detail that he gave us.

We would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. This is a family business and their integrity speaks for itself.

I arrived at the agreed time and sat down in the waiting area that had a TV and a/c. They were done in about 1/2 an hour. Owner Bryan Fitzpatrick explained what he did and gave me some ideas on how I can remove future scratches by myself. The cost was just $22 after tax.

They do same day service so I left the car the same day. When I picked it up I wasn't happy with the job done on the bumper. It was redone at no extra cost and now looks perfect. The side also came out perfect. I am very happy with the work. I didn't shop around. I went there on a recommendation from a friend so I don't know how the price compared, however I appreciated the fast service even though they did redo the bumper.
