I originally got a quote for $4000 dollars for the job after Russell went to the jobsite. In order to save money I said I would do part of the work. When he gave me the $4000 quote to start the work he removed the items that I said I would do. He continually failed inspection and would not return calls. It took several months to get the job done. It should have taken weeks. It turned out he wasn't licensed for a portion of the roof repair and failed the inspection. I never knew when he would show up. I would go to meet him or his workers and he would not be there. I would tell the tenant that someone would be coming but no one showed. He hired a licensed contractor to assist but still failed the inspection. He finally got the right hurricane brackets installed and left. He never called me to let me know the roof passed inspection. I had to call the county to find out. He removed all the wiring and now I have to rewire it and he did not put up the soffits as promised. I still have his plywood. I will finish the job but would never ever use or recommend Russel ClusterBeck again or recommend him and will steer anyone considering roofing to not use him.
