Great guy and greater service

I have had two serious water leaks in the last 18 months and was concerned that my allergies might be caused by mold.. I called Mike on Friday, and he came on Monday morning to test my condo.. He explained the process very clearly and proceeded with the testing. He said that he should have the results by Wednesday and would let me know right away. On Wednesday he sent me an e-mail to let me know that my labs were not high and attached the extensive report. It was worth the money to be certain that I donâ t have a serious mold problem. I highly recommend Mike Morsberger!

My wife and I have had Mike help us test 2 different places, one house and one apartment. Both times he has been fantastic. He has been able to show up on very short notice twice, taken all the time we needed to answer any questions and explain all of the issues. When the test results came in, we talked for a while on the phone and he discussed the results and all the questions we had. On the house, we hired Mike to test the house during the prebuy inspection period. I HIGHLY recommend doing this. We found a significant mold problem and backed out of the purchase. We plan on having him perform a mold test on any future homes before we buy.

We hired Mike in September 2019. He did a though job of testing throughout our home, and got the results back from the lab... quickly! Where Mike really shined was providing us with the pertinent information we needed, and how to present that information, to the A/C company who caused the mold problem in our house by incorrectly installing new A/C vents & returns. When we presented the information that Mike gave us, in the manner he suggested... The A/C company quickly agreed to pay over $6,000.00 to have the mold removed from our house. Today, almost a year later, on Aug. 25, 2010, I called Mike for advice on whether we should spend over $3000 for a Ultraviolet device for our two A/C units that an A/C company said we needed. Mike explained that those UV light devices would be a waste of money. And, that what we needed was a Dehumidifier for each unit. Honeywell is the best, but they cost $200 more... and that Home Depot with their installers will be the place to get the best price rather than an A/C company who will most likely charge much more. Mike was efficient and informative about what might be the cause of my sinus issues. As it turns out, the problem wasn't mold. Instead, it was the AirWick plug ins that Mike said were not good for my lungs or sinuses.

Mike was prompt, presented his credentials, and displayed tremendous knowledge about micrology and high rise building construction, which was something he had done in a previous career. He took both swabs and air samples and used two different pieces of equipment to detect mold and moisture in our ceilings and walls. The samples taken were processed by a lab and 72 hours later, Mike called with the results indicating we had multiple types of mold present in our condo. Following that call, he emailed us a very thorough letter with his findings. If you suspect you have a mold problem, call Mike Morsberger. I can not say enough about the outstanding Mold Testing services that I received from Michael Morsberger, Inc.! He is extremely professional, knowledgeable, thorough and passionate about doing the job right the first time! I learned a lot by watching him work. I had hired another Mold Testing Company first and was disappointed about the fact that the Inspector was not licensed and actually wanted me to determine where and how to test for mold! Then I hired Michael Morsberger and the difference was unbelieveable! I learned that Michael Morsberger is licensed as a Mold Assessor by the State of Florida and has many years experience in the industry. He also has 37 years of experience as a builder in the construction industry. And although he concentrates in Mold Assessing, he is also licensed by the State of Florida in Mold Remediation. Michael put that unique combination of experience and knowledge to work on my project, and I could not have been more pleased with the results! Michael set up all of his equipment and then assessed the physical surroundings and located every area of water intrusion and other problems in the house that could contribute to Mold growth. He identified the best areas and means of testing for Mold, and then collected samples using Spore Traps for air samples, as well as swabs. He talked throughout the process about the conditions that were accounting for his findings in each area. Then Michael sent the samples off to a lab for testing and delivered the lab results and his interpretive analysis which was infinitely more thorough than the results that I had obtained from the first Mold Assessment company, which had charged me three times more than Michael did for each sample obtained! What was even more impressive was the fact that Michael Morsberger had even predicted what the lab results would likely be, based upon his inspection and findings! He accurately predicted that some of the samples would likely come back positive for black mold, which is exactly what happened! Black mold is a deadly serious condition that is well known to cause brain damage! I have never recommended anybody for anything before, but I highly recommend Michael Morsberger, Inc. for Mold Testing services that are head and shoulders above the rest!
