This moving company completed the job on time and for the fee agreed. They did minor damage to one filing cabinet. Other than that all was OK.

Their tagline should be 'let us add stress to your move.' I hired Iron Man Moving & Storage based on a raving recommendation from my realtor. I was getting ready to sell my house -- moving from a 5 bedroom 3 1/2 bath to a somewhat smaller home 20 miles across town.) I have a professional job, am a caregiver for my 82-year-old mother and have children. I desperately needed help packing and moving the entire household. They came to my house and gave me an estimate: between $1,500 and $2,100 - "TOPS" - I was told. My final bill came close to $2,500 -- and worse -- about 25% of my items didn't get moved because they couldn't fit them on their truck. Now I have to find another company to move the rest of it. I lost a freezer full of food because they had me empty it to get it ready. Good thing I had a cooler, because they forgot the one they were supposed to bring. It ultimately didn't fit on the truck, so add the cost of the lost food to the bill that was already way above what they promised. The move was supposed to be in the morning. So I was at the house waiting for them at 8am. I got a call around 9 saying they were running a little behind and they would call when they were on their way. 1pm rolled around -- still no call. I called again. "They'll be calling soon" (verbatim text response). If a call hour later is 'soon' and arrival 2 hours later is 'soon' then I guess they did what they said. They arrived to start loading the truck at 3pm. For some people, that's 'morning' (right?) For my family, it's not. I work standard hours and my kids go to school. The move was on a Sunday. I had no idea that my family would all be up until well after midnight by the time everything was loaded, transferred and unloaded. Let me tell you - it was a ROUGH Monday morning. I was told I'd get a call from the owner Monday (they did admit that that they had WAY underestimated). That didn't happen. They did collect my money though. In retrospect, maybe I should have suspected there would be problems when they asked me if I had ordered boxes the morning the packing started. Problem was, they never even told me I needed to. Nor did they tell me where to go or how many to buy (that's why I wanted to hire pros - I thought that they were experts in that kind of thing!) This company is obviously not set up to deal with major household moves. They are not experienced estimators, their truck is too small for households that are established, and their communication is poor. Wish I could call them to discuss this, but they don't answer the phone. Maybe they're ok for small moves. If you have a larger home with nice furniture - I definitely would NOT recommend them. These guys don't seem to have experience dealing with people who have 'real furniture.' Hire someone else - hopefully you'll have better luck than I had.

Iron Man Moving was organized and emailed helpful information prior to move date. They called the night before the move to tell me the window that the movers would arrive, and the movers showed up within the window. The move went smoothly and the furniture arrived at the new location without any noticeable damage. The price that I was charged was as quoted in the estimate, and there were no surprise/unexpected charges. I paid the movers in cash after the move was completed, according to the agreement. My only gripe is that, after I paid for the move, I wasn't issued a copy of the receipt and inspection report, which I signed or initialed in at least four locations. I emailed and called the company office to request a copy of the invoice/inspection report, but they sent me only the first page of the four page document. I emailed the office a second time to request that they send me a copy of all four pages of this document, but I wasn't sent the full document. I believe that the customer should receive a copy of the signed invoice/inspection and any other documents that he or she signs upon payment of the bill, and not an incomplete copy sent days after the move.

Extremely well. The Iron Man Moving and Storage folks, who actually do the moving for A+, were professional, efficient, and strong! Tony and Will quickly moved furniture around, then loaded up the truck, unloaded at the new location and reloaded for storage. Altogether it took less than 4 hours and almost an hour of that was driving. All was done as we requested and with good care for the condition of the properties as well as the items moved. We were very pleased with our experience with them.

I had 2 moves within 6 months - they showed up on time - were very professional - the fee was very fair - and they handled my belongings as if it were theirs. I would not hesitate to use them again and totally recommend them to anyone considering a move.

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT USE!!! Pictures attached showing damages caused by unprofessional packing. Unfortunately, A+ Quality employees (a.k.a. Iron Man Movers) damaged several items due to incorrect packaging despite assurances that these items would be wrapped with blankets or shrink wrapped. We provided moving blankets and shrink wrap but towards the end of the move they were being pressured by management to hurry up and finish in order to get to their next move. Consequently, they got lazy and shoved in unwrapped upholstered chairs, a brand new wrought iron bed, wood furniture, headboards and other items they promised would be carefully handled and packaged but were not. They also shoved 6 unused blankets in the truck that we provided and could have been used to protect our belongings. Worse, when we asked them to compensate us for their inadequate packing they were rude, unprofessional and denied any responsibility. They also blamed us for not managing their people more closely.... I would never use again and do not recommend.

The initial cost through Angie's List was $570.00 but the total ended up being $1066.00. They broke my wife's armoire. They scratched up her wine rack. When they dropped the armoire, they created a nice size divot in the wood floor. I understand things happen but they let days go before taking care of those things. We sent the armoire and the wine rack to them. The owners said they have someone who can fix that. So, I think they came back in a week or two. The armoire was still broken, we had to pay $250 out of our pocket to have someone to fix the armoire. There was probably 3-4 weeks that went by. They kept saying that would send someone to fix the wood paneling on the floor. That person did not show so we paid $250 to have the armoire and the wood paneling fixed. The only thing that they took care of was the wine rack. If I called them they would call back but as far as being proactive with the moving with a sense of urgency to fix these items, it was not good. They said they would be there at 6 and got there at 6:30. I would not use them again.

"First we would like to thank you for the review, and second we would like to state that we never provided any moving services for [Member Name Removed] We did speak about a move and we exchanged a couple text messages but she refused to go through the booking process that we have every customer of ours go through. The book email was sent to her 3 times, each time asking for her to please fill it out in order to get on our calendar for her desired move date. The email asks for a full name and contact number, both addresses (pick-up location and drop-off location) and an inventory list. After we receive the information we respond with a couple of emails including tips for the move, a liability form, and a confirmation email. Non of these were sent to [Member Name Removed] because she did NOT provide me with the proper information needed in order to even get her on the calendar. This means she did not respond to any of the 3 booking emails sent to her. And like every moving company there are specific fees for different situations and or specific pieces of furniture. It is a Florida state law that movers are not allowed to move live plants in the back of their trucks, In order to move live plants for a special handling fee we have a secondary, open bed truck sent to the jobs needed to relocate plants. There are also special handling fees for items such as hot tubs, baby grand pianos, up-right pianos, grand father clocks, kayaks, and SAUNAS. etc. As soon as she told me about the live plants and sauna I immediately informed her of the special handling fees that would be applied so that there were no secrets come move day. Special handling fees are also stated several times through out our liability form in case the person answering the phone forgets to mention it. We did everything in our power to try and get [Member Name Removed] on our calendar to be able to insure a great move. Unfortunately, her refusal to follow the steps required to get on the calendar means we had no information of hers to put on the calendar. We at least need a pick-up address."

It went badly: water was left dripping in the kitchen cabinet when the washing machine was disconnected; veneer was knocked off furniture in several places; glass was broken in a large picture frame and not disclosed. The picture was stacked with others behind boxes. I did not discover the damage for a few days, during which the Memorial Day holiday came, so that the owner then claimed I had not reported the damage within a 5 day window. He said he'd only pay the required 60 cents a pound for repairs, further stating the picture had not been wrapped for moving. The moving team had not told me that the pictures needed wrapping. Damage was done to the front door frame and paint knocked off the walls in a couple of places. The lead team member told me I'd be running up the charges because I asked him to list the damages on my invoice which was written separately from the invoice he was using for the company. He also told me I'd have to let him take the damaged china cabinet to the shop for the veneer repair because the company didn't use a furniture restorer who could come out to the home. When I objected, he called the company and then told me someone could come to the home to do the repairs. The owner was not pleasant or sufficiently communicative about setting that site visit up with a furniture restorer. However, the furniture restorer was fine. Overall, the experience was very unpleasant, with much of the move left undone. When the time began to run into a fourth hour because the lead team member was having difficulty hooking up the washer and dryer, the other two workers stopped working, leaving much still to be moved. I had to pay for the full fourth hour. I am amazed how this company is recommended by Angie's List, and wonder if the business has recently changed ownership.

Really excellent moving job for a price that couldn't be matched. Three professional, friendly movers, 26 foot truck for 6 hours for about $100 per hour. Hooked up washer. Had some time left so took bunch of stuff left by seller to Good Will. Very knowledgeable movers. You can't go wrong with them.

It went better than I could have even hoped for. Before the move even happened, I was impressed. The closing of our home purchase got delayed 3 times, affecting our move date. A+ was so understanding and accomadated all 3 reschedules no problem, even were pleasant about it. The purchase of our home was extremely stressful to say the least, so this was a breath of fresh air! The day of the move they called 30 minutes before arrival, arrived right on time, and worked past the one-way city street challenge we had. Both gentlemen introduced themselves, reviewed the contract again with me, and recorded an honest start time. They took excellent care of our stuff, worked their butts off and got it done in less than 3 hours; even found time to be friendly but still professional in conversation. I'm 7 months pregnant and they made sure to leave me somewhere to sit right up through the end of house #1 and right away at house #2; these guys went above and beyond. The cost came in below all other quotes I found (I did use a groupon, but even at full price A+ won the bid). I have moved using professionals 7 other times, including once cross-country, and can honestly say this was the best experience I've ever had. I will be recommending A+ to anyone that asks!

3 men arrived and were told what items were to be moved. The lead/boss asked to use the restroom and I told him to use the front bathroom. Instead he walked over mounds of packing and a 3 foot wide stool to go to the master bath. He closed and locked the slider instead of the individual bathroom door and stayed in there for quite some time. Upon exiting my husband went in the bathroom and 2 bottles of narcotics were missing. When mentioned to the crew, he immediately responded "don't look at me!" They loaded the truck and said that because it was so close and so early they would do 2 loads. They stated there was room in the truck but it would be easier that way. Because of this they ran over an hour and we were charged an additional $150 which we paid in cash. Part of our furniture was not even wrapped. An antique mirror was broken, edges of furniture skinned to bare wood and our entertainment center was destroyed. An antique sewing machine was damaged, lamp broken. Left items to entertainment center at the other house. Not all items were delivered. They did not offer to go back. The boss refused to write all damage down stating he was coming back to fix it. We contacted Carson the owner who has yet to call us back. At the end of the move the boss screamed at my husband and used profanity so horrible I refuse to type it here. Some of our furniture is beyond repair, parts are missing and we are traumatized and my husband now has irretractable pain as he cannot get refills for the stolen medications.

Iron Man Moving & Storage moved us from Oldsmar to Fort Myers. They were the only company we contacted who were willing to do the entire move in one day. Other companies insisted on a 2-day move, including overnight storage fees, because of the distance (139 miles). Matthew and his crew were courteous, cheerful, efficient, and very careful with our belongings. They arrived promptly and completed the move within the expected time period and with no surprise add-on charges. I was very happy with their service.
