Ed was able to get started on the project within the timeframe requested, and he was very professional and did an exceptional job from start to finish. He takes pride in his work as you can tell with attention to detail. I would highly recommend Ed for any deck or porch project.

Ed is a great contractor. He did a complete remodel on my bathroom. This was a seventies-style bathroom with a drop ceiling over the shower. First he did all the demo which basically included removing everything from the bathroom down to the studs. He raised the ceiling, retiled the shower, installed a new shower pan, retiled the floor, installed a new toilet, vanity and lighting.
I could not have been any happier with Ed's work.

Outstanding!! Ed, the owner of E.A Contracting, quickly came out and generated an estimate based on my needs. He was able to give me pricing options for both pressure treated lumber and synthetic decking. Ed was able to start my job within about two weeks of us agreeing to move forward. It took him a total of four days as he worked non-stop until the project was completed, even working all day on a Saturday!
I cannot be more pleased with the quality, workmanship, or total attention to detail. Based on the design, the deck boards required precise angle cutting, which Ed did perfectly. He also built a great entertainment cabinet that houses the outdoor stereo system and the controls for the deck lights. Ed incorporated the lights into the project so they were recessed into the deck! And, he installed two outdoor fans and relocated an outdoor TV.
E.A. is a high quality, customer focused, and get the job done quickly and precisely the first time operation. It was a pleasure to work with them.

I had two seperate leaks that occured a few weeks apart. The first occured when the air handler did not turn off when the water level in the overflow pan reached critical level. The sensor was not working so the water just overflowed out of the pan and leaked into the bathroom I had just finished remodeling. The leak resulted in the ceiling needing to be torn down and replaced. In addition, the exhaust fan had to be replaced and the installation in the attic also had to be replaced. Ed quoted me a price of $600 for the work. He completed the work in 3 days and afterwards you would not be able to tell I had any repairs completed. I was very pleased with the work.
A few weeks later I had a leak which went into my kitchen.This resulted in some of the drywall having to be removed and also having to replace a cabinet and the refrigerator surround. I also had another cabinet which had to be re-installed as it had been un-installed to remove the hardwood floor which was underneath it. Ed quoted me a price of $1,200 for this work. First, he completed the drywall and painted the area. I was very happy with the work. Ed then had to wait for the replacement cabinet to arrive. Once it did, he picked it up for me from Lowes and then installed the cabintet and re-installed the other cabinet which had been moved. Then he had to wait for the hardwood floors to be installed. He came back on the last day of the flooring install to place the refrigerator surround. (This had to wait for the flooring as it sits on top of the floor.) Ed completed the surround and the last thing was to re-install the granite countertops on the two cabinets. I was very impressed by Ed. It was not a large job but it lasted several weeks as it had to be done in bits and pieces. Ed was very accomodating it having to complete the job in multiple steps. I would hire him again.

ED GETS STARTED AND WILL GO AND GO UNTIL HE GETS THE JOB DONE, ONLY TOOK HIM A FEW DAYS TO PAINT THE ENTIRE HOUSE. HE METICULOUSLY WENT BACK OVER EVERYTHING, CAULKING AND REPAINTING IF NEEDED. HE PUT NEW DOORS AND FRAMES ON THE HOUSE AND PAINTED THEM. EVERYTHING HAD TWO TO THREE COATS WITH THE BEST PAINT. CLEANED UP EVERYDAY AFTER WORKING, NO CLUTTER. ED HAS DONE MANY OTHER JOBS FOR US THRU THE YEARS AND ALL HAVE BEEN EXCELLENTLY FINISHED. HIGHLY RECOMMEND ED FOR ANY JOB AROUND THE HOUSE,ETC.

Ed arrived as scheduled. The job entailed removing an old-fashioned doggie door, making the opening bigger and installing the new door. The whole job looks totally professional. I would highly recommend Ed for any job around the house. He does superior work and leaves no mess behind. I will use him in the future.

It was apparent that we had a water leak in the master bathroom. Bob Hyps quickly diagnosed the problem as a shower pan leak and helped us selected a great contractor (Ed Armas: E.A Contracting Inc). Ed removed the existing shower door, demo and dispose of the tile to expose the shower pan membrane at which point Bob Hyps repaired and replaced the shower pan. Then Ed built up a mud base for the floor, replaced any water damaged wall board, retiled the floor, grouted the area and replaced the shower door. this job was complicated by the cramp inefficient design of beach condo. Ed is amiable detailed oriented professional. If you are considering a bathroom remodel why stress just hire Ed and you will have one less headache in your life.

Ed arrived early! He made and installed screen doors off of screened in porch. He replaced a few slat on fence that needed to be fixed.

It is so carefully and beautifully well done I couldn't believe he charged me so little. He advised me against restaining it, which ended up being really good advice and he even helped me pick out the colors to repaint it. He did such immaculate work I thought immediately that I needed to add him to Angie's List because he is so reasonable and does such a wonderful job. I can't say enough wonderful things about him. He did extra things too that I wouldn't have thought of, like he noticed the wood below was rotting and he replaced it. He even went out on his own and matched the hinges for one of the doors that was coming off. It looks totally pristine. I have just never had anybody go above and beyond like that for me before. He took it very personally. I am not afraid to ask him to do other things if I happen to run into other projects that need to be done.
