"Hi Paul, As explained you have a water leak and our flooring is not coming up, your original parkay flooring that you asked us to install vinyl over is coming up. Not only was this explained in detail but we also physically showed you it was your parkay floor coming up, absolutely not our product and you really should address your water leak. Please read all e-mails: Good Afternoon Paul, I explained to Anthony on a recorded line with HomeAdvisor that you wanted us to install vinyl plank over your existing flooring which is stated on your signed invoice. I also explained that your existing flooring is coming loose and that our product was installed correctly and he said he completely understood. I also explained to him we went out to your home and explained the situation and we discussed options such as repairing the existing floor and that there would be a cost and there is no warranty on the repairs since we didn't install the existing flooring. I also explained how I suggested that I can have a state inspector come out at your cost to inspect our installation and flooring to show that it is the existing flooring. You declined those options, we were treated unkind, and we left. Even with that in mind, we will still extend those options to you. Please let me know if you have any questions. That is why We filed this complaint, As for treating your Team badly I apologize for the poor words spoken,, My wife and I were stunned by your Team's approach, that we had done something by having the vinyl installed at all. Paul Paul, Yes of course Vinyl is a very acceptable and realistic product to install over existing flooring. The vinyl plank is not coming up or installed incorrectly. In actuality, your existing wood is buckling which we did not install as explained and shown in detail to you and your wife. If you decide to have us do repairs to your flooring at your cost, realistically you will probably have moisture under your existing flooring that will need to be dried out before repairs can be done, and if there is a substantial amount of water you will probably need to have that addressed before installation could proceed. And yes you treated my family very rudely and even as we were very shocked by both of your actions, we were still very professional and would still discount your repair estimate for you as a courtesy.
