Countertop and Backsplash Service
Some of the faults were and are; after the wall cabinets were installed, the ones on the sink side above the counter tops started to come loose from the wall. This was because this wall has concrete block behind it and Cabinet Specialties originally used improper hardware to install the cabinets. The depth of the new wall cabinets (12") is not as deep as the old ones (15"). Cabinet Specialties never measured properly for one of the new wall cabinet. An 18" high cabinet was installed where a 24" high cabinet was needed. This resulted in an extra two weeks wait for a cabinet with the correct height. Difference of " in height on counter tops next to stove. Warped wood was use for our kitchen counter tops resulting in all of them being bowed. The workmanship on installing the mica on the warped wood is very unprofessional and sloppy. Instead of adjusting the cabinet doors to fit and close properly, extra pads were placed on them, some of which have now fallen off.
