About us
Beth Kelly has been a professional photographer for over twenty years with a studio in New York and in Tampa Bay Florida. In New York, her studio is located on the near Mid-Town Manhattan , and in Florida she is located near Indian Rocks Beach, Redington Shores, St. Pete Beach, Sand Key and Clearwater Beach. She is also close to Dunedin and Tampa. Beth Kelly was born and raised in Florida, where she earned a BS Journalism degree from the University of Florida. In 1989, she moved to New York City where she worked as a fashion stylist and makeup artist before opening her own commercial photography studio in 1992. Since then, she has specialized in publicity portraiture, dance, children, and corporate photography. She is well known for her location and outdoor photography and her comfortable, photo-journalistic style of shooting. After a very successful fine art show in Manhattan, Beth has strived to merge her journalism and fine art backgrounds to capture realistic, creative and visually exciting images.

As the Chair of our Public Relations/Social Media Committee we wanted to hire a professional photographer to document the meeting and give us high-quality photos to update our website. Beth Kelly did that and so much more!! She fully attended and documented the four 12+ hour days of the conference, capturing not only talks and attendee interactions but also the social events in the evening and also proposed the idea of including professional headshots for speakers, student award winners and our officers and councilors! This was a huge success, and was added bonus for those who came and gave talks, an extra special award to our student award winners who can use their new headshots on websites such as LinkedIn, and for our officers and councilors and our society as a whole because the new headshots look amazing on our website. Everyone was so thrilled with their new headshots and all of the general pictures of meeting look very professional and drastically improved our website.
Overall, Beth Kelly is extremely professional, passionate about photography and taking great-looking pictures, and also just a great person and easy to work with. She produced amazing photos for us and did it the whole time with a huge smile on her face and great energy. We look forward to working with her again in the future!

Our wedding day photos could not have turned out better! Beth perfectly captured our special day. She took shots of my bridesmaids and I getting ready, shots of my dress&flowers, portraits of myself and husband, family photos, bridal party photos, candids, gorgeous sunset photos and so much more. Beth has is a truly gifted photographer and takes absolutely incredible pictures. She really has an eye for the art of photography and can turn any event or photo opp into a stunning work of art. She is also really good at helping her subjects relax and feel natural when having their photo taken, which for me personally is very important as I do not like having my picture taken! I would highly recommend Beth to anyone looking for a great photographer.

We contacted Beth Kelly Photography for long-overdue family photos. We requested to do the photo shoot at a local park. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate on the first day that we scheduled...nor on the second date. However, Beth was flexible and accommodating. She worked with us (and Mother Nature) to find a date and time that met our needs. She spent a lot of time with us on several different locations throughout the park. And the best part -- the shots look terrific. The color is great, the composition is fantastic. We are actually having trouble deciding which ones to purchase -- but Beth is helping us with that as well. We'll be ordering this week and I'll update this review once we receive the prints.
As a side note, we looked at several other photographers and Beth's end product and pricing put her at the top of our list. We'll definitely be using Beth in the future.
UPDATE - We received our prints and they are fantastic!! We ordered a large format canvas, and it is absolutely gorgeous. The quality is fantastic and the color is vivid. It is exactly what I wanted and more than what I expected. Every person that comes in our house has commented on the beauty of the canvas and the shot. Beth also help me pick out three shots for a gallery wall. She did a mix between a black & white and sepia -- the color is perfect and the prints a fantastic. I recently had them framed, and now every time I round the corner and see them, it fills my heart with joy. She absolutely captured our family and gave us a precious keepsake that I know we will all treasure forever.
I already know who we are calling for future photos!

Considering it was at the beach and our daughter is very active with the wiggles, it went very well. We definitely came out of the session with fantastic pictures.
